Chapter 36

Camila's POV

Once I saw Lauren hit the floor I darted out the car and ran up to them pulling Dinah off of Lauren.

"What the hell are you doing here Mila?!?! Don't tell me your still with this cheating bitch!!"Dinah yelled over a groaning Lauren and I pushed Dinah.

"Yes I am and she's not a cheater it was just a big misunderstanding."I exclaimed.

"Wait hold up! What?"She said confused.

"Lauren came to rationally explain to you what really happened. But before she could say anything you punched her, am I right?"I stated more than asked and she looked down at Lauren who was groaning in pain while she held her face.

"Aww shit I'm sorry. Ughh damnit."She said helping Lauren up then gently pushing her inside the house.

Dinah led us up to her room avoiding her family members which were everywhere. Dinah set her on her bed while I quickly sat next to her prying off her hand. Once Lauren let go of her face I saw blood rushing out of her lip and left eyebrow. Dinah got up and went to go get her an ice pack as I wiped the blood away with the bottom of my sweater and she flinched.

"Stop flinching babe."I said dabbing her forehead.

"It's kinda hard not too when you just got punched by your girlfriends bestfriend that's a beast."She said frustrated and Dinah walked in.

"I get that your mad at me for hitting you but I think we all saw it coming."Dinah said throwing her the ice pack which Lauren luckily caught.

"Yeah whatever."Lauren muttered and I sighed before mouthing 'stop' to Lauren and she carefully put the ice pack to her eye.

"So what happened?"Dinah asked while sitting down in her beanbag chair in front of us. I looked at Lauren who was sighing deeply then glared at Dinah and I held her hand silently telling her to calm down.

Lauren took a deep breath and looked at Dinah more softly. Then started to explain from the beginning, I sometimes would cut in but other than me speaking Lauren went over Every. Little. Thing. That happened. It brought back up the fresh memories of yesterday, brought back the pounds of tears that were shed, the cursing and yelling and shoving, the doubt and the endless screaming. Everything, every sentence that we remembered that went in order of the story. Lauren was very good at telling the story or any story in the matter of fact, she just has that trait I guess. It all lasted about an hour and a half along with Dinah's endless questions and statements that she cut in along with myself. Lauren's ice pack has mostly melted that she was now holding in her lap and Dinah got up and hugged Lauren.

"I'm so sorry Lo. I didn't know and you know how I act when someone messes with the people I love especially if that person is Camila. Then I'll kill anyone!"Dinah said holding onto Lauren while taking my place causing me to stand before her body came into contact with mine. Dinah kissed her eyebrow and rocked them back and forth while Lauren happily wrapped her arms around her and I couldn't help but feel slightly jealous.

"Ahemm. Girlfriend still in the room."I cleared my throat with a fake smile trying to hide my slight jealousy. They separated after Dinah gave her a kiss on the cheek and whispered something in her causing her to giggle.

"Well thanks for explaining and I'm sorry for uhh punching you."Dinah said to Lauren and she carefully laughed.

"It's good, it's just a busted lip and eyebrow. If anything it helps me and my badassness."Lauren smirked and I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever Lo, your like a huge Care Bear!"Dinah laughed along with Lauren.

"Aeyy no one knows besides my cuddle buddy!"Lauren said looking at me then pulling Dinah down for another hug.
