We lost track of time when it came to studying and when I took a glance at my phone, it was pushing eleven. We had been cooped up in this room just, creating, for four hours. We barely even spoke, but there was a lot of communication happening despite that. They say art is a language in itself and tonight I truly felt that.
I had let Seokjin know what time it was, and with that he decided we should take a break and eat, then maybe watch something on his tv. He offered to let me stay for the night and me, being afraid of the dark, couldn't say no.
So here I sat now, on the couch belonging to the most handsome man I think I've ever met, and I'm staying the night. Some dreams do come true, don't they?
Seokjin brought a few snacks and drinks over and we watched a movie together. I paid half attention since I was also texting Yoongi, but I did take away that the movie was a romantic comedy. I didn't recognize the actors or actresses but that was okay with me.
At one point, Seokjin was quick to hop up from his place on the couch and take off down the hallway and up the stairs, leaving me alone in his huge expanse of a living room. I watched the last of his shadow disappear before I blinked in confusion and glanced to my phone.
Me
He just took off upstairs and said noting??

Snoop thru his stuff if ur boredI set my phone down and rolled my eyes thinking about Yoongi's comment. I'd never snoop around, but I couldn't help but ease my curiosity by looking around at the artwork hung on his walls. It all was beautiful, and all of different mediums. I began to draw a theme of loneliness and heartache, but I couldn't find a certain piece that really felt like it, wholly, anyway.
I bumbled my way into his kitchen, which was adjoined to the living area, and I observed the art, atmosphere, and color scheme. In reality, this could just be interior design and aesthetic pulling through, but I wanted to go a step deeper and try and understand Seokjin through what he surrounded himself with.
His kitchen teemed with life. Soft yellows and blues, alongside pinks in the paintings. The flooring was marble, and his cabinets painted a dove gray. His pantry was spacious and half empty, and his fridge as well. His kitchen appliances where all solid black, which in my opinion, brought the room all together.
I worked my way back over to my seat in the living room and sat down quietly, sinking back into the plush cushion of his sofa. I sat there and texted Yoongi, explaining to him what I felt his house's decorations meant, and when I heard that familiar plip plop down the stairs, I put my phone down and slapped on a happy smile.
"Where'd you go?" I asked softly, and as Seokjin emerged into the living room, he let out a playful sigh before plopping down beside me.
"My roommate threatened me and made fun of me through pictures and I wasn't taking it!!"
I watched as he broke out in laughter. His perfect white teeth and thick, peachy lips which curved into a grin... he was perfect. Just perfect.
"Oh really? Should I give him a piece of my mind too?" I nudged his shoulder and broke out into hysterics alongside him. Seokjin shook his head and wiped his eye before calming down and pursing his lips together.
"Are you tired at all?"
I blinked and shrugged. I mean, I was feeling drowsy, but I didn't want to miss any time I could have with him. But then again it wasn't like tonight would be the last time I'd ever see him..
"Actually yeah, kinda," I frowned apologetically and Seokjin chuckled softly and stood up, gesturing for me to follow.
"That's okay, I am too. Lemme show you to the guest bedroom."
