Adelaine. (Not Add - a - lane. LOL. It's Add - a - line.)

Gemma and I have been best friends since I can remember.

When we were 3, her older brother Harry was 7. So we are about 4 years apart. He never liked me.

Ever.

I would always come over for sleepover or parties; Harry just shot me dirty looks all the time.

I never did anything to him. I never understood why he didn't like me. When he never came back from the X Factor, I was relived.

When he comes home from tours or from being in town, he'd always get drunk. And who does that leaves to care for him? Gemma and his mom, Anne. They always baby him.

But whenever Harry's sober, he'd do anything to keep his sister alive. Literally. He cares a bit too much for her. He'd take a bullet for her.

I guess you can label Harry as a reckless asshole who has a deep sweet spot for his sister. Long title but it'll do.

He's always saying rude things to me. Or physically hurting me when Gemma walks out of the room. I act like he doesn't hurt me. I don't want to be one of the little crybabies that think it's okay to let a guy hit you then apologize and later forgive them. I'm not like that.

I'm way better than that. I stick up for myself.

Harry has never seen me cry.

And it's going to stay like that.

It's gonna take the two of us to get along.
