Harry’s POV

“So how’d you meet Adelaine?” I ask as friendly as I could. I already knew the answer.

“It’s actually a funny story,” He begins to laugh. “Um, she almost got ran over, and I guess you can say I saved her.”

“That sounds exactly like Adelaine. Always being clumsy.” I chuckle. “How do you know her?” He asks. “She’s my neighbor. And my sisters best friend, so I’m kind of stuck with her.” I can’t help but to sound irritated.

Yes I do like Adelaine. I have been for a while now. It’s just hard to tell her because she’ll get the wrong idea. And the media will go crazy if it was ever official. I just don’t want anyone getting hurt. Maybe this George guy is perfect for her.

“Wait. You’re from One Direction right?” George seems confused. “Yes. I was wondering when you might’ve asked.” I nod my head.

“You don’t really believe all the band wars and gossip do you?”

“No. Not really.” I was lying. I hated his band.

“Okay guys I got the tickets!” Adelaine comes running up to us with three golden tickets. “Awesome.” George takes his and Adelaine hands me mine.

“So what do you guys wanna do first?” She walks ahead. “Ferris wheel? Food?” She suggests. “How about we take pictures?” I ask pointing to a photo booth. “Wait, Harry actually wants to take pictures?” Adelaine teases.

“I can take pictures if I please.” I hold my head up high.

Adelaine’s POV

It’s not seconds later that all of us get noticed.

“Adelaine can I get a picture?”

“Harry can you sign this?”

“George you’re perfect!”

Fan after fan. “Harry, I don’t think we’re gonna be able to do anything here.” I mumble and try to push through the crowd.

“Guys we should just go.” George signs a girl’s phone case and she literally passes out.

“I’ll take Ad home. We don’t live far, we’ll just walk.” Harry says. “They’ll follow us.” I point out.  “We’ll leave through the back.” He must really want to walk me home.

I have no idea what’s gotten into Harry. First he’s an asshole and now he wants to be nice. I must be dreaming.

“Okay. Bye George.” I give him a hug from the side. He tries to hug back but he’s pulled into the sea of girls.

The girls don’t seem to notice us. “They’re distracted, let’s go while we can.” I grab Harry’s arm and we start running towards the back of the fair.
