Chapter 17

Adelaine’s POV

                                                  -Saturday-

I woke up the next morning to a snoring Gemma sleeping next to me. I guess she got here later than I did.

I smile to myself as I remember the kiss Harry and I had. I touch my lips and can’t help but let out a little squeal.

“What’s with you?” Gemma stirs. “I kind of kissed your brother and your breath really stinks.” I laugh.

“Oh my god! Really!? You guys did!? Oh my god finally!” She cheers. “What did you guys do after?” He eyes light up.

“Nothing that your dirty mind thinks.” I shake my head. “But, we talked a lot more and we seriously had so much in common.” I add.

“Your mom owes me money.” She says confidently. “You and my mom actually betted on us?” I ask offended.

“Sorry! Who wouldn’t? Now what are you guys going to do?”

“We’re gonna go swim with dolphins and he has a surprise for me.” I explain as I put my hair up. “Awe. And I can’t come?” She whines.

“Sorry.” I tease and walk to the bathroom to brush my teeth.

Gemma’s POV

So as Harry and Adelaine went on their little date, I was sort of stuck here in the hotel room by myself.

“Honey, you aren’t going to go out?” My mum walks into our hotel room. “I have no one to hang out with.” I gesture my arms.

“Can you go get me more sunscreen from the CVS down the street?” She smiles. “Only because I love you.” I sigh and grab the rental car’s keys from the small coffee table.

There were so many brands of sunscreens and the amount of SPF they had. I had no idea which one my mum wanted.

I pulled my phone out and texted her.

‘Which brand and how much SPF do you want?’

I walk back and forth; down the aisle and wait for her to answer.

‘Banana Boat and 75 SPF.’

I slid my phone into my back pocket and look at the sun screens.

“Really?” I pout as I notice that the Banana Boat brand is all the way at the top of the shelf. I get on my tip toes and stretch my arms out to reach it.
