I woke up by the sound of crying,why'd they wake me up this early? I couldn't help but pick up my feet at the sound of crying. I walk towards the door handle from curiosity. I lightly press my ear against the door, why is my little brother crying?
“WAHH!”
Jisung? Why is he now screaming ? Is he getting hurt?Who is hurting him?!Is it my mom?
I gently grab the door handle as I take a peak of what is happing.
My eyes go wide, I see my mother she is hurting Jisung. She keeps hitting him? Is he bleeding? I don't think I can leave this room without getting noticed. I came to an agreement to leave before my brother gets even more hurt.
I hesentently open the door wider and take a few steps out,my mom has not noticed me yet.I try not to cry while I look at my brother. Beaten up, why? He's just 6!I pick up courage and then I run down the stairs to help my brother,“Mother! Don't hurt him!”She looks up at me and laughs. What is so funny?! “Stop hitting him! ”She tosses my brother to the side as she starts walking towards me
My mother looks up at me with hate filled eyes, she won't look at me how she used to do when I was younger,before my dad left, we were just a sweet family. I don't thing I can ever forgive them for what they did.
After he left my mother, she blamed it all on me and my brother, I had to take care of him when I couldn't even take care of myself. Why is she like this, hurting us. This isn't normal.
My mother walked up to me and slapped me. I fell down on impact, she keeps hurting me. “Mother stop!It hurts!”I said. “You dumb child, can't handle any pain! ”My mother screamed while punching me.
I looked at my brother and saw him mortified of what is happening in front of him. “Please stop! ” my brother said with tears in his eyes. My mother drunkenly kicked me one more time and walked upstairs to her room.
My brother came running to me, “Brother?!How bad are you hurt jiminie!? ”
“I'm fine Jisung”
