"but we can't leave them alone!"

taehyung was beyond frustrated at this point. the silent room was filled with tension between taehyung and namjoon who had an argument. "they are not kids! jungkook would be able to protect them if anything goes wrong!" namjoon hissed, packing his backpack and taking his weapons.

of thinking. "but jimin-" namjoon groaned lowly and gave a death glare to the younger who was just worried about the others. "jimin has gotten better at using a knife and that guy is stronger than you think." he sighed, after a moment of silently staring at each other.

"kid, they'll be alright." namjoon smiled sadly, his eyes holding honest and genuine care. "yea.. let's go, we're already late." taehyung sighed, slinging the bag over his shoulders and heading out. the sun was yet to rise but the kim duo was in a hassle to get the necessities before the rest would wake up.namjoon trailed behind as taehyung looked for any signs of danger, locking the door after namjoon comes out and walks over to the car. the older furrows his eyebrows as he notices scratches on the car. "they were here."

taehyung followed namjoon, frowning in intrigue. "what makes you say that? they can just be some random-" taehyung was cut off by a growl that came over from somewhere behind the trees. both of the boys gave each other a glance and hid behind the car, loading their guns.

namjoon went out first and ran far away from their house, and firing a shot to distract the bloody creature that was stomping towards the car.
"come get me, you ugly!" namjoon yelled and started running.

the zombie looked over at the older and slumped on the floor, crawling disgustingly and then getting up again on his feet. taehyung ran behind the zombie and started shooting him. the blood-covered fleshy creature fell lifeless in a matter of seconds.
