so first one!! i decided to look up prompts to get inspiration and i think i might have some. its rlly short and cute and fluffy but i tried so lets get this bread 🥴

    you were currently in your work office, the day hadn't been too busy thankfully so you were currently finishing up your last few papers before being allowed to go back to your lovely home. as you finished typing some small details on your work, your phone started vibrating, displaying your boyfriend's, yugyeom, name and picture. you quickly picked up, happy to hear his voice after a long day. "hey yugy, what's up?" you answered happily, resting the phone between your cheek and shoulder as you continued typing. "hey love! uh, for no reason in particular, how long until you come back home?" he asked, a small hint of nervousness coating his question, causing you to raise an eyebrow. "shouldn't be too long, why?" you replied. "uh, just asking, how long are we talking?" he asked, still evidently nervous. you furrowed your eyebrows at how suspicious he sounded, causing you to focus your attention away from your computer screen and grab your phone properly. "yugyeom, what did you do?" you question a little worried. you heard him sigh from the other side, a little bit of shifting following that.

"so.. you remember when i dyed bomi's fur with hair dye without knowing it cant be used on a dog like that?" he asked, even more nervous. you felt a sudden dread sink in as you pinches the bridge of your nose, shutting your eyes. "kim yugyeom, what did you do now." you said sternly, receiving a small worried laugh fron him. "so uh.. i might have done it again but accidentally?" he replied, earning a groan from you. "you did WHAT?" you asked in disbelief, standing up quickly and typing some last things on your computer as you heard him talk.

"it wasn't as bad as last time! i swear! to be fair, she looks pretty sweet." he quickly defended, more shuffling from his side. "you are unbelievable sometimes," you scoffed, grabbing everything and rushing out of your office. "i'm on my way, please refrain from doing anything until i get there." you said a little quietly as you roamed through the office building. you heard him hum a little sadly in response and hung up, quickly checking out with your boss for an emergency and hurrying to a bus stop.

once you arrived to you and yugyeom's shared apartment, you sighed and hesitantly unlocking the door, scared to what was awaiting you on the other side. once you opened the door, your 10 month old golden retriever puppy came running to you, the sight quickly shocking you as you crouched to her level. "oh bomi, what happened?" pure shock coated your voice as you took in her features. there were a few splotches of red on her body, and she was dripping water all over you. you quickly stood up and narrowed your eyes, walking to the couch and placing your stuff there, wanting to look for the culprit. you didn't have to do much though, shortly after a freshly-dyed red haired yugyeom came down the stairs slowly, a guilty look spread across his features.

you crossed your arms and raised an eyebrow at him, seeing bomi run up to him. "care to explain before i go batshit crazy on you?" you asked firmly, not moving from where you were. yugyeom quickly came to you and sighed, adverting your gaze. "okay so, i was getting into the shower after waiting for the dye to be ready to get taken out and bomi ran in as i was rinsing my hair. i didn't think anything of it and also gave her a shower while she was there, but when we got out i noticed she had a lot of red on her. i thought it was just my shampoo that managed to stay on her so i rinsed her again, but it wasn't coming out." he finished, looking down with a pout as he waited for your response.

you sighed a little, feeling bad at how upset you had gotten at him. knowing how it played out calmed you down a little, looking down at the small puppy sitting at both of your feet then looking back at the bigger puppy in front of you. "okay, i see now. did it get anywhere near her face or ears?" you asked him, uncrossing your arms and leaning down to pat bomi on the head. yugyeom quickly shook his head, his gaze still everywhere else but on you. "no, no. i made sure it got no where near her face." he replied a little quietly, making you frown a little and tilt his head up with your fingers.

"hey, i'm not mad. accidents happen and im sorry for lashing out earlier, i just got worried." you said calmly, giving him a reassuring smile. you saw his eyes instantly light up as you said that, his posture lifting a little. "you're really not mad?" he asked with wide eyes, evidently relieved. you giggled a little at his reaction and nodded, taking back your fingers from his chin. "of course not, yugy. i could never be mad at you, you're like a giant human version of bomi. you're both adorable." you replied, pinching his cheek lightly. his entire face lit up as a huge grin graced his features, picking you up in a hug and laying with you under him on the couch.

he began peppering your face with kisses as bomi joined in and licked both of your faces, making both of you burst into giggles at the cute puppy. after a while, you three settled down and cuddled closely as to not let anyone fall off the couch and talked about the rest of your days with closed eyes, truly at peace. after a small moment of silence, bomi was asleep and you turned your head over to face yugyeom. "please let this be the last time you surprise me with such situations during work." you said playfully, a smile playing on your lips as you raised an eyebrow. he chuckled and kissed your cheek sweetly, giving you a playful smile. "i genuinely can't promise anything."
