I woke up in a dirty hospital bed. The ceiling above looked like it was concrete. The room was very bright and had all the items you would see in a hospital. I was tied to the bed and I couldn't move.I started to panic. Where was I? My power started to seep out and I could feel myself starting to become warm. " Calm down " a person said. He then touched my arm and I started to scream and wiggle. "Don't touch me!" I yelled.
"I'm here to help you.My name is Justin" he replied calmly. I lay there still very terrified. I just wanted to go home.
" Where's Jenna?" .
"Just worry about yourself right now. I'll explain everything later" Justin answered. I needed to calm down. Being angry or scared won't solve anything right now. I'll get back to my simple life. I just have to bear through this."Alright let's take off those restraints now" Justin said. Another person walked into the room. He had blonde hair and blue eyes. He looked like he was about 5'6. He went to my right side and took off my leg restraints. Justin took off my arm restraints. I got off the bed and stood in front of Justin. "Welcome to the FFA hideout" Justin said. I stood there in shock.
"How did I get here?" I asked.
"After you used your powers you blacked out. I don't know the reason for this though. Maybe It's because it was your first time using it.After you blacked out one of our other members saved your life. Her power is teleportation."
I got mad at this. "Why didn't you just teleport Jenna instead of making her cross the bridge?" I said.
"Her power isn't as simple as that. She can't teleport herself unless she has one person with her. Also she has to be touching the people in order for her power to work."
"Can I go home?" .
"You kind of can't. You did kill a few people on that bridge. You are a wanted criminal just like the rest of us." I was even more in shock. I did kill people. I was a murderer. How could I? My simple life was over.
"Hello I'm here to brief you about the FFA" the person behind me said. I had forgotten about the blonde haired guy in the room.
"You are going to brief me?" I asked.
"Yes. Let's go to the dining hall and talk about the FFA." the man said.
We got food and sat down. "As you may know the FFA is made up of 9 members. We have Justin our leader. His power is the ability to null anybodies power. He just has to be touching them. Next is Jenna. She is Justin's right hand man and her power is mind control. The third person is Leah and her power is teleportation. The fourth member is me. My name is Josh. I have the power to see anybody's superpower just by looking at them. When I look at them details about their power is sent to my head. The fifth member is a man named Thompson but we all call him two. He is able to make clones of himself. The only downside is that each clone has a mind of its' own and doesn't really obey twice unless they are willing.Also the clones are always very weak and disappear with one punch.The sixth member is a 10 year old boy named Zack. He can cause explosions. He isn't able to control this power. The 7th member is a girl named Kristy. She has the power to possess objects. We are currently working on building her a robot suit for her to possess. Whenever she possess something her body falls asleep. The 8th member is a man named Tyler. His has enhanced vision. He can look far away and see clearly. The 9th member doesn't have a name for all we know. We just call him Ice. He can freeze anything he touches or anything near him." Josh explained.
"Those powers seem awesome," I said taking a bite of the apple in my hand.
Josh just smiled and nodded at me. "We were hoping to get a 10th member. He is able to summon fire around him and control it."
