"No tricks?"
"Totally no tricks. I promise." The man said, his deep voice cutting through the blowing wind.
"I am going to tell you what happened."
He paused for a while.
"I am going to tell you what really happened." He said. "The truth."
And then the man thought of the tiny, young girl, so tiny compared to the gigantic world. The girl who was once naive and pure and innocent, not knowing a thing when they first met.
Yet...she had changed.
A lot.
"Once upon a time," He began, since this was the only thing he could think of. Telling stories was never his specialty; they were the children's. "There was a little girl."
"A little girl who had just won a big fight..."
Prologues are all meant to be short, ya know. =]
