"The key is to walk like you're supposed to be here," Ally told Elias through her teeth, "when we get inside, there should be a storage room down the corridor on the right wing. I'll get a uniform there. Then we get looking for Noah."
Elias nodded, his head moving rigidly, like a soldier taking orders.
As they walked past security, he lowered his head in the hopes that no one would question whether or not he worked there.
"McFarlan," the security guard called, "you were at the break in?" Elias froze, gulping.
"Yes, sir," he answered hurriedly.
"Why the hell did you bring the captive through the main entrance?" he barked, "take her down to the cells."
"Right away, sir." Elias looked around trying to work out which way to go.
"Get moving," the guard yelled.
"This way," Ally muttered through her teeth, walking towards a sign that said "lockers".
"Do you know where we're going?" he asked her.
"No idea, but we need to get these cuffs off me, and get me a uniform. Inconspicuous, remember?"

It had been a particularly illegal day, Ally thought to herself, even by their standards. Normally they just defied the government, but in less than an hour, they’d managed to trespass, steal, assault a government official and commit identity theft. And now, she and Elias were in an elevator, on their way to break out a prisoner. She hadn’t been in an elevator in over three years, and now, after having listened to the painfully bad glockenspiel solo that was playing in the background, remembered why she had avoided them for so long.
Ally watch the numbers getting higher as they travelled deeper into the underground levels of Pharmite, getting more and more anxious about what was going to happen. Her anxiety grew even more as the elevator drew to a halt. Ally rubbed her wrists unconsciously, worried that her wrists might soon be handcuffed again. The doors slid open and a man walked in, and the doors closed behind him. He walked straight up to Elias and whispered something in his ear. Elias’ eyes widened and his face turned red. The man stepped back as the elevator stopped again, and quickly walked out of the elevator, watching them as the doors closed.
“What was that about? Ally asked.
“I’m supposed to, I mean McFarlan is supposed to meet him in the cleaning closet during our lunch break,” Elias said in a somewhat confused manner. Ally bit her lip, before bursting out laughing.
“It’s not funny,” he grumbled, “I think he grabbed my butt.”
“What do you mean you think he grabbed your butt?”
“I don’t know. I think he was trying to put a note in my hand-”
“And what? your butt got in the way?” Ally was almost doubled over from laughing so much.
“Shut up. Just because I don’t like strange men grabbing my butt…” By now Elias was laughing too. He put his hand to his face and rubbed his forehead, “I can’t believe that just happened.”
“I know,” Ally said, “today’s been, interesting.”
“To say the least.”
…
“So are you going to meet him?”
“Ally!”
“Well he’s expecting you to be there. You can’t disappoint him.”
