'Just one day. One more day.' She told herself as she got up for school on a Friday. She hated going to school. Although the education was excellent, the people there were awful, well most of them. A lot of girls were the stereotypical skimpy party girls, guys were stupid jocks, but one person in particular made her like going to school. Byun Baekhyun. He's the reason why she puts up with everyone. He's not like the other guys in her school. He's different. It seems that his life revolves around music, mainly piano, which she admires. Sometimes she finds herself listening to him play after school in the band room from outside the door. She has a lot of classes with him, but she's only talked to him a few times. The two of them seem to have some sort of connection, they keep exchanging glances whenever they encounter each other. When he plays piano, the different notes and beautiful harmonies drown her ears until she feels as if nothing else even exists. Baekhyun doesn't like his school either. Because he got to see (y/n) was the main reason why he told his parents to stay in the school district. He loves seeing her face everyday. He stares at her everyday and blushes whenever she catches him and they make eye contact. After school was over, she was about to subconsciously go to the band room, but instead, went to her locker first. It was a good thing she did because a folded note fell out. Curious, she picked it up and opend it. "Dear (y/n), I didn't have the courage to tell you this in person, but I like you. I think you're very beautiful and smart. I'm glad I found someone who is not like the rest if the girls in our school. If you want to find out who I am. Come to the band room after school." Her heart skipped a beat. There was only one person she knew who like to be in the band room after school. She slowly made her way there, following the soft sounds of the piano. Opening the door slowly, she peaked in and saw a grand piano with a single rose on top and someone sitting at the bench. His soft fingers gliding gracefully across the keys. Baekhyun. She slowly walked towards him, his eyes lost in the music, her eyes lost in him. She waited until the piece was over, and when it was, she smiled and he turned his head to look at her. "(Y/n)." He said. "I see you got my note." "So it was from you." "It was." He scooted over. "Sit here next to me." She walked over and sat down. "I know that you listen to me play everyday." He said. Her face turned red. "You do? How?" "I just sensed you. That and I would watch you leave whenever you though I was about to get up." You chuckled nervously. "Sorry." "Don't be. I like when you listen to me play I do it for you." "What?" "The first few times I played here, I didn't plan in coming back as often as I do. When I started realising that you were here, I kept coming back to play for you. Now you don't have to listen from outside the door. Now, you can be right next to me." He started playing another song and you slowly rested your head on his shoulder. You smiled to yourself as you realized you can now listen to him from a much better distance.
