"Thanks again for helping me move in, Baekhyun." You told your brother. You were finishing college and moving into an apartment. You asked your older brother to help you move in the rest of your stuff. "No problem, but I called a friend of mine for extra help." He said. "Who?" He smirked. "You'll see." That made you anxious. He had a lot of cute friends so you were kind of anticipating whoever was coming. You kind of hoped it wasn't Chanyeol though. Whenever he was around when you were younger, you always froze up because of your semi-obvious crush on him. Since your brother moved out, you hadn't really seen him, and you missed him. A few minutes later, you were in your room, starring to unpack some things when there was a knock "I'll get it!" Baekhyun said. You heard the door open. "Hey." Your head shot up. 'That voice.' "Hey, um, we already got all the boxes, she just want help unpacking." "Okay." 'Um, who-?' You slowly peaked around the corner to see him. "Hey!" Chanyeol said. Your eyes widened and all of those adolescent feelings for him came back. "Hey." You said. "Well don't just stand there, give me a hug!" You were suprised but went up and hugged him. You've only ever hugged him once and that was to thank him for the bracelet he got you for your birthday years ago, that you were in fact wearing right now. "How's my favorite girl?" He asked. 'Okay what's wrong with him?' You asked yourself. "I'm fine." You said, a little confused. He's never called you his favorite girl before. You were a little flustered and were lost for words. "Well, let's get started." Baekhyun said. You needed to get away from Chanyeol for a second, so you went back to your room to unpack. After a few minutes, you heard someone walk in. Your back was to the door, so you turned your head and saw Chanyeol. "Do you need any help in here?" He asked. "Um, no." You said, looking back in the box you had. "Are you sure?" He asked, already looking through the nearest box. He picked out small pink book. "Yes, I'm su- no!" You got up and ran to him and grabbed the book out of his hands. He smirked. "What was that?" He asked. "Nothing." You said, putting it behind your back. "Was that what I thought it was?" 'W-what did you think it was?" "A diary." "Pft, no." "What was it then?" You sighed. "Okay fine, it was a diary. I haven't written in it since I was like 13." You said, tossing it into a different box to get to it later. "What's in it?" He asked. "Why on earth would I tell you? Actually, I don't even remember." You said, getting quieter. "Well, don't you want to find out?" He asked. You narrowed your eyes at him. "I guess, but why are you acting weird?" He shrugged. "I'm not. I'll just leave you to read it." He left and closed the door. You raised and eyebrow and went and grabbed the book. You picked it up and examined it. It didn't have a lock or anything on it, just an elastic that held it closed. You took it off and opened to the first page. Before you started reading, you wanted to see how many pages you wrote. As you flipped through to the last page, a loose piece of paper fell out and landed on the ground. You furrowed your eyebrows and picked it up. You set the book down and unfolded the paper. It looked like it was written in a boy's messy hand writing an it was obviously old since the pencil was smeared. Of course out of curiosity, you read it. "Dear (y/n), you left your diary at school today and I found it, obviously because I gave it back to you. But before I did, I wanted to write you this letter. Don't worry though, I didn't read anything in here. I just wanted to say that I really like you. I bet you didn't know that. I want to know if you like me too. If you do like me back, meet me at my locker in the morning. And if you don't show up, that's how I'll know you don't like me. Hopefully I'll see you tomorrow! Love Chanyeol." Your eyes widened and your heart started beating faster. This letter was so old and you haven't seen it until now. You instantly started to feel really bad. 'Chanyeol probably thought I didn't like him!' You ran back out into the living room and saw just Chanyeol sitting on the couch. "Chanyeol." You said. He turned to look at you. You help up the note. "You found it?" He asked. "Why didn't you ever just tell me how you felt?" You asked. He shrugged. "I was a scared little boy that's why. What too you so long to read it?" He asked pouting. "I waited for you that morning, and I was heartbroken when you didn't show up, but the next time you left it at school, I looked and saw the note still there. I knew you probably didn't read it yet so I kept it in there and waited for you every morning to see I'd you saw it yet. Then I started to think that you did seen it and just didn't like me." He asked. You sighed. "I did like you though. I wish I had seen that." You chuckled. "You have no idea how big of a crush I had on you." He grinned. "You had a crush on me?" He asked. You nodded. "I really liked you too." He looked relieved. "Well, do you still feel the same?" He asked. "I don't know, it's been a while since we last saw each other." "Well just know that I still like you, and I think about you all the time." You smiled. "Well in that case, we could always start fresh and you can take me on a real date." You suggested. "Of course." "Does Baekhyun know that you like me?" "Yeah." You pinched cheek. "And he didn't tell me either?! What is wrong with the both of you?" "Ah, don't take your anger out on me!" You laughed and rubbed his cheek. "I'm sorry." "Sorry doesn't make it feel better." You leaned up and kissed it. "I'm cured!"
