This is a nonfiction story about a cat I found in my yard yesterday.
I will be updating it weekly in a hope of teaching anyone reading about not only the importance of spaying and neutering your own cats, but also looking out for the cats that live...
So some of you may remember Jack the kitten I found in my yard back in November. I wanted to make a little update about him and how he is getting used to living as an indoor cat.
Already just from having a good environment to thrive in, he has more than tripled in size, to the point where he is as big as his fully grown older brother who was a bottle-fed kitten.
At this point, we are hoping to get him neutered in March as long as he keeps growing well it should be a perfect time. Now well we are on the topic of spaying/neutering I want to bust a few myths on the subject. Number.1 spaying/neutering a cat is unhealthy for them, this is entirely wrong it in fact usually is the opposite by spaying/ neutering you are giving your cat or dog a longer healthier life, un-neutered male cats often get into fights and can seriously harm each other. While having two or three litters of kittens a year can be racing on a female cat not even mentioning the complications that can occur during the births. Number. 2 cats have a desire for a family, not really in some cases this can be true but for the most part, this is false. Cats run on instinct and their instincts tell them to populate the world so when a cat is spayed/neutered, the hormones change and the cat loses interest.
That was a lot so now I will leave you with some pictures.

This was taken a few months ago when he was still pretty small, so I don't remember what he was doing other than sleeping.
That's it for today and once again sorry the pictures are sideways.
