Thirteen

As I looked at myself I was pleased with what I was seeing.
I wore a denim shorts, a tank top and a pair of sandals, packed my hair in a ponytail applied some lip gloss. I decided against the make up because it was already evening and I'm sure Raymond wouldn't mind. Taking a picture I sent it to Beth and I couldn't stop smiling
"Well,well,well Mr Carter will have a hard time keeping his hands to himself"
" that's the idea Beth"
"Well I'll be waiting for the gist later babe"
"Talk to you later"
After the text I took my bag and decided to text Raymond I was on my way. I was still nervous but this was something I wanted and I won't mind a little nervousness.

As I stood in front of Raymond's apartment I was marvelled, I didn't know teachers made a lot and hell this apartment is so huge and I meant huge  and the elevator took me to the penthouse really but then again I came for Ray not the apartment or the penthouse . I finally rang the bell after waiting for so long. Raymond opened the door immediately I rang the bell which was amazing because I lack a lot of patience, I stepped inside immediately and damn was the inside prettier. I was marvelled everywhere was on sleek.
" You look beautiful " Raymond commented
"Thank you" I said looking at him he was so perfect all he had on was a singlet and a jogger which I just made my best outfit for him
"It smells nice in here" I said as I walked down
" yeah the sauce is almost done, you didn't actually tell me what you love so I went with pasta"
"Well your in luck because I love pasta" I smiled
"So you take a sit while I go finish up"
"I can help you" I said following him
"Can you?" He said looking at me
"No but you can help me help you"
"V, just take a sit " Raymond said as he took me back to where he left me. Me sitting there and waiting for Raymond was making me insane, I hated to be kept waiting. Looking round the room there wasn't any picture of anyone related to him or even him and I kept wondering why
"Well food is ready so come on" Raymond said as he interrupted
"OK"
" are you OK" he asked
"Yeah, just nervous" I said nervously
"Why?" He asked as he stood smirking
Oh my God my nervousness makes him happy
" I don't know" I replied
"Well don't be uncomfortable"
"I'm not uncomfortable I'm nervous" I corrected him
" whatever you say V " he said smiling
" I'm sure by the time we are done with the dinner you won't be uncomfortable"
Raymond I'm nervous not uncomfortable " I whined
" Well then, I'm sure my food can calm your nerves "
I was surprised Raymond took my hands and lead me to where we were having dinner and the table was so arranged that I couldn't just comprehend how he could do all this alone and fast
" Did you have help"
"Nope I did it all alone"
"Wow"
"I hope I'm impressing you"
" You are almost there Ray "
"I'm confident I can get there"
"Cocky much"
"Confident much V" Raymond said smirking
At that moment I just knew this dinner is gonna end well
