chapter 7: illness

"Time to go" rin mumbled placing her hands on her waist. It was time for Rin to leave and everyone was in the main living room to see her last time. "Bye, hope to see you again" Rin whispered getting close to yui. "Me too" yui answered. "I had a good time, thanks for everything" rin said softly holding her luggage  bag. Rin left the mansion smiling at shu and shu smiled back.

"A lot happened since Rin-chan came" yui mumbled. "What?" Ayato asked hearing yui mumble. "N-nothing" yui answered. Everyone went to their rooms and yui was in the balcony looking at the beautiful garden. She was lost in her thoughts when her heart started racing faster and she could feel the thirst for something she had never tasted before. "W-what is going on" yui thought falling to her knees.

"Hey, what's wrong?" subaru asked seeing yui on the ground. "I-i don't...know" she barely managed to get those words out. "Let's get you to reiji" subaru said helping yui get up. Subaru managed to get yui to reijis' room. "So what happened exactly?" Reiji asked. "I saw her on the ground and she was all pale and couldn't talk easily" subaru answered. "Can you hear me?" Reiji asked looking at yui.

"Y-yes" yui answered. "Here drink this and rest" reiji said softly. Subaru held yui bridal style and returned in a few minutes. "Is it the awakening?"  Subaru asked concerned. "Yes it seems she's getting thirsty for blood" reiji answered sighing. "We should probably warn the others" reiji said and both of them teleported away.

"We should probably tell her" kanato suggested after hearing what had happened. "I agree" laito added. "No, we shouldn't get impatient" shu answered softly. "He's right and we should stop drinking her blood for a while" reiji said pushing his glasses back with his middle finger. "Why?" Ayato asked. "She's already pale and if we drink her blood then her thirst will grow even faster" reiji answered. "Damn it!!" Subaru mumbled punching the wall.

"Who new a sacrificial bride would be this annoying" kanato thought playing with his bear. "Are you thinking about little bitch?" Laito asked. "Yes, i am" kanato answered. "She's so clueless about her ownself" kanato added. "Something tells me this little bitch is gonna change our lives" laito said smirking. "You never know" kanato answered.

Yui was feeling better now and she was looking for subaru and the first place she wanted to check was the garden, he was always there. She finally reached the garden and she saw subaru with the silver knife in his hands.

"What do you want?" Subaru asked shocking yui. "Am....i need to ask you something" yui asked gulping. "What" subaru shouted turning to yui. "Look....i know that i didn't just feel sick for no reason" she replied. "That illnes wasn't normal and i think you know" she added. "I don't" subaru answered with a straight face. "Then do you know anyone who knows?" Yui asked. "I don't" subaru said and teleported away.

Yui sighed thinking all that work was for nothing. "I know maybe i can find it in the library!" Yui thought getting excited. Yui slowly tiptoed to the library knowing that reiji or shu might be there. She slowly opened the door and got in without anyone noticing. "Now all i ha-...s-shu" yui's hopes were all the way down now but she was kinda expecting this.

"What are you doing here" shu asked placing his book on the table. "Nothing, i just wanted to read a book" yui answered going to the near shelf. "I've never actually explored the library properly" she added. "I know it's pretty quiet in here just the way i like it"  shu said smiling softly. "Woah, what happened to him?" Yui thought noticing that shu had changed a little.

Shu started reading his book again and yui looked around for the book she was looking for. She finally picked a book named 'types of diseases' and looked through it but she couldn't find any useful info. "Are you ill?" Shu asked looking at what yui was reading.

"N-no..why do you ask" yui asked annoyed by shu who was observing her every move. "You're reading a book related to diseases" shu said pointing out that it was obvious.

"I can help you if you want" shu said smirking.
