Casillas stood in the goal box waiting for Barcelona to try score, he couldn't let Neymar score, because he felt like he had to impress Sam. He knew that she was his best friends girl but he just felt that he had to. He whipped his gloves on his pants. He looked over to where Sam was sitting but was disappointed to see her there.
"Casillas focus!" Pepe shouted at him. He looked towards the field to see the ball and Neymar speeding towards the goal box. He looked back to where Sam sat and saw her sitting down, trying not to show she was crying. But Iker knew.
"Asshole." Iker cursed knowing Sergio was in one of his moods. Iker focused on the ball. Watching it at the feet of Neymar. Before Neymar got to the goal box, he took all his power and put it into that one shot. Iker dived for the ball, his fingertips just touching the ball before the sound of Barcelona and their fans celebrating. Iker lay on the ground with his head down in disappointment.
"Idiot,idiot, idiot!" Iker cursed in his head. The half-time whistle went off and the Real Madrid team could barely drag themselves in to the changing room from disappointment while Barcelona had high hopes that they could keep the same score. The whole team sat on the bench with their head in their hands while Ancelotti tried to get their hopes up.
"Ok listen up!" Iker said.
"I know I missed that goal.",His eyes flicked to Sam,"I was distracted but if we put our heads together we can win!"
"Iker's right, if we focus and work together as a team we can win." Cristiano said and they started going on about tactics. A man came in to the changing room telling us the second half was about to win. Everyone left but Casillas stayed to say something to Sam.
"I'm sorry I let him get one passed." He said.
"It's ok." She said getting up and running over to him, putting her arms around his neck.
"He broke up with me." She cried in to his shoulder.
"I'm really sorry, he can be a dick sometimes." He said before planting a kiss on her forehead," I must go, my team needs me." She nodded.
