(italics = flashbacks)
Times were getting worse and worse as the days went by. You and brad were no longer in a good place in your relationship. As much as you hated to admit it and as much as he refused to accept it, you two were no longer in love. You hadn't seen Brad for a while, it wasn't unusual for you to not see him for a few days. He would say he was staying at studio for a while and he wouldn't be sure when he was gonna get home. Sometimes you think that he is purposely avoiding you which hurts. You just want things to go back to the way they were, but you knew that they couldn't be.
"Hey," this cute guy approaches you when you are sitting down watching everyone else dancing in the bar.
"Hi..." you reply back, nervous of what this guys intentions were.
"I just wanted to see if you were okay, you've been sitting here for nearly an hour just watching your friends dancing," you chuckle at how he paid attention to you.
"So you've been watching me?" This catches him off guard.
"Is it bad if I have been?" He asks shyly.
"Not really no," you smile and you see his facial features soften at your words.
"I'm Bradley by the way," he puts out his hand for you to shake.
"Y/N," you shake his hand back and from there, you begin to talk more, even exchanging numbers.
You decide to text your boyfriend;
you: are you home for dinner?brad: no
staying back at the studioReading the message, it wasn't something that surprised you. You've sent the same message for a week now. At least he responds sometimes. Some days he won't reply and you make dinner anyways only for him to come home and say he's already eaten. You were tired.
The message he sent back made you so angry and frustrated at him, you even start writing a massive paragraph explaining how mad you are, though you never send it. You were too afraid to send it. To talk about what was wrong, but you knew you were going to snap soon.
"Y/N!" Brad calls out to you as you search for him outside. You see him, he is wearing a light blue/grey shirt and then a dark blue jacket on top of it, along with some black jeans and boots. He looked hot as hell.
"Hey!" You say to him as you walk his way. It was your first date and you were so nervous.
When you reach him, he opens his arms for a hug and you happily accept it, feeling his warmth and fast beating heart. He's nervous too. When you pull away he is taken aback by your look. You were wearing just casual wear, a top that was tucked into your jeans and a bomber jacket on top of it.
"You look stunning," he chuckles and you do too.
"It's nothing, just something I pulled out."
You guys decide to walk into the theatre and pay for your tickets and buy a bucket of popcorn to share, but in the end, you eat most of it.
By the end of the night, you guys are walking around the streets of London, just discussing the movie you just watched and everything that happened. You two were in a heated debate about the characters, about who was better and who was worse. It was not an argument but more so just bantering.
