Gray chuckled when she saw the other agents talking Morgan down from assaulting her. She smirked and turned away to walk out of the door. mumbling to herself she tried to tell herself to stop. "Why am I doing this?"

'why am I doing this?'  the echo....it was back

"We will save this for tomorrow, and agent Morgan?" She spoke before fully walking out of the glass doors from the bullpen into the hallway. He grunted back in response. "You need to tell them!" She whispered to herself, when her back was turned to them.

'I need to tell them!' There it was...again.

'You can't, if you tell them they die. Let them find out on their own.'

"A classic narcissist, thinks they are in general better than others. Doesn't work well with teams but yet still tries to work. Anxiety disorder creating an absolute hell. Knowing that they are better, but being painfully aware of what they are saying. Voices, oh lord the echo in my head. Sometimes I feel the need for an Aphrodite to fix it. Reading emotions is the easiest thing done. I am in no way stupid, I have subordinates. You just happened to be my prey at the time of attack. I was right in assuming you were hot headed. Don't let it get to your head." She turned to smile at him.

It was a brilliant smile. Her teeth perfectly straight and white. It seemed to off but at the same time they couldn't question it because they knew she was good.

Why did she tell them? There was no reason to tell them now. It wasn't a high stakes situation, so what was this girl thinking.

With out another word Agent Gray Ring left the BAU until her required time came.

...

There was a loud sound of boots and heels coming down a wide hallway. It ended with Garcia's door. That was what they were looking for, and it's what they found.

The door slammed open, "Garcia I need you to run the name Gray Ring in your search engine and tell me anything you can about her." The field squad was now crowding Garcia's room, making it feel so much smaller than it actually was.

Mumbling under her breath Garcia got started on the work she was now being pressured to do with everyone on breathing down her neck. Out of the science and anticipation hold the room with an iron grip came her voice.

"My name is Gray. I have no other name. That is what I am called. My beatings were normal. Isn't every child told to 'get a switch' in their lives? " Her voice was playing through the speakers in Garcia's room.

"Hey can you turn the sound up?" Derek asked kindly.

"Do you think you are better than everyone else?" A new voice was heard over the tape. It sounded clean and blank. Unwavering in emotion or lack there of.

"Am I better? hahah, am I Gray Ring McDowell better than everyone else? I am. You cannot tell me otherwise. Its in my blood. It colors my skin and taints my brain. I have nothing. I am nothing, except for when I am a McDowell." The video recording cut, and left everyone confused.

"Where were these found?" Hotch asked

"Scawatchy Mental Institution..." She replied.
