The next morning Bellatrix stretched broadly and sighed happily. She winced and blinked as the early spring sunlight streamed through the large window and gave her eyes a minute to adjust, slowly sitting up.

"Someone's happy" A gruff voice said to her left. Bella sat up and cracked her neck to look at her companion. "What's the reason?"

"Just a nice dream, Rod" Bella rolled her eyes and swung her legs over the side of the bed. She again stretched with a loud groan, eliciting a matching groan from the man in the bed, and yawned loudly, just to piss him off. Glancing at the window, she hummed and made her way over to the vanity. "Nice day today, I suppose". She made idle conversation as she reached for her wand from it's stand. Her husband offered her a measly shrug and flopped on his stomach, taking advantage of the extra space she had vacated. Bella rolled her eyes and entered the adjoining bathroom, just catching the screech of a mail owl in the distance. "Get up, you're going to be late for work" She called out to him before locking the door and beginning her morning routine.

A little while later, Bella sat in the lounge sipping a cup of tea and absentmindedly picking at her breakfast (just simple toast today-nothing too big) as she looked over the mail that was sent today for her, ignoring the pile for her husband. Today's edition of the Daily Prophet Which detailed nothing of significance to her, just a random wizard called Gilderoy Lockhart whoever he was, and todays edition of a new newspaper organisation called The Quibbler. The Dark Lord had requested that she be up to date on all news stories so now she received both newspapers, she was well aware there were more out there but she was not paying for more than two thank you very much. But what caused her apprehensive nature and loss of appetite was the three open letters sitting in front of her. Lately she dreaded the post. It brought nothing but trouble, just seeing "The Daily Prophet" made her blood boil.

But the two/three letters in front of her caused a great deal of sadness. The third she considered with dread.

The first was from the Malfoy family. Bella had originally torn the signature Black/Green seal of Narcissa, expecting it to be something pertaining to recent events regarding Sirius or, knowing Narcissa, it to be nothing of the sort but more like a new dress or robes that would look absolutely "divine" on Bella. It was nothing like that. It was in fact a letter announcing the news of poor old Abraxas Malfoy passing away through the night. There were smudges ruining her sister's neat handwriting from her sister's tears and even Bella felt sorrow upon reading it. While she wasn't close to Isla Malfoy, Lucius's Mother, She did have a friendly nature with Abraxas. So soon after Isla's death as well will no doubt cause a big upset within the Death Eater community, she will have to handle that herself being the New Right Hand, and a weird passing feeling within the PureBred community. The entire Black Family will have that one to sort out, after all they were considered Wizarding royalty.

Narcissa also informed her that nobody had told The Dark Lord and requested her to do it, so that will be fun.

She hadn't a chance to catch up with her sister and have a chat about the nature of her relationship with The Dark Lord, though from the ton of the letter Bella could easily guess exactly what Narcissa's thoughts were.

The next letter for her was marked with a simple yellow commercial seal. It didn't pertain to any household she was familiar with. However, the addressee wasn't "Madame LeStrange" nor was it "Ms Black" like a usual unidentifiable seal would come but rather, there was a simple "Bella" written on the front. The witch in question had pulled a face and ripped open the seal, accidentally pinging it off and somehow nailing Kreacher right in the fore head. Giggling now, all her early sorrow forgotten, Bella's bright brown eyes scanned over the letter and stopped giggling immediately. It read :
