I listened to Derek as he finished explaining everything that happened.
Hotch and Rossi listened intently, nodding along.
"Well, we're very happy both of you are ok," Rossi told us, and Hotch nodded in agreement.
Hotch cut in. "We're done with the case. We need to get home. We've bought you first class plane tickets for two days from now. Morgan, we suspected that you wanted to stay with Spencer?"
He nodded yes.
"So we went ahead and bought you one as well. We'll see you when you get home."
They walked out, and Derek relaxed, pressing his forehead against mine.
"You guys make a cute couple by the way."
Derek at I split apart, staring at Rossi, who seemingly reappeared, with wide eyes. He laughed.
"David! Leave the kids alone," Hotch called from the hallway. "Let's go, J.J. and Emily are waiting for us."
I giggled nervously. "Bye Rossi," I called out.
Derek chuckled.
I slid over in my bed. "Sit with me for a minute?" I asked him.
He obliged, and scooted in beside me. He placed his arm over my shoulder, holding me close.
"Remember when you kissed me?" I barely breathed.
"Vividly. Why?"
"I don't. Can we do it again?" I asked him, worried he would say no.
He chuckled, and tilted my head up, placing his lips gently on mine.
My heart fluttered happily, and I kissed back harder. Derek chuckled into my mouth and I shivered.
He slipped his tongue into my mouth and I inhaled sharply, letting out a small moan.
Derek pulled away, looking at me with an amazed look on his face. "That was hot."
I laughed and blushed. "Thanks..."
"I think you need to get some rest now, ok?"
I nodded, and sank into the pillow. "Please don't leave me."
"I'm not going anywhere, promise."
I hummed. "Thank you Derek. For everything."
Derek and I sat side by side on our plane ride home, our fingers interlocked.
I leaned my head on his shoulder, and closed my eyes.
"Do you wanna stay at my place tonight?" He whispered, so only I could hear.
I blushed deeply; I knew what staying the night usually led to. Then I smiled. "Yeah. That would be nice. I-I mean if you don't mind."
"I don't mind a bit. Do you?"
I shook my head. "I'm tired Derek," I yawned.
"Go to sleep, baby. I'll wake you up when we land."
I smiled to myself, and snuggled into Derek. "Goodnight," I mumbled.
"Goodnight pretty boy."
