Today is the day. I really thought they'd come; especially after everything we've been through. I wanted them to be with me on my last day here. During these moments I can't help but think back to those days we spent together.
Nevertheless, I don't blame them for not wanting to see me. I only hope someday they will find out the truth about what really happened and find it in themselves to forgive me.
It's almost time. I'm not as scared as I thought I'd be. Those last couple of days, was the first time I've felt some serenity in the long five years that have passed since then. I'll finally find peace far away from here. Away from him.
