The Queens was a celebrated group of four young women who are International and Olympic Fencing Champions in the overland and in virtual reality fencing. They won the gold medals during the Fencing Confederation of Asia: Thailand Open Fencing Championships last year.
They came from the most prominent and richest families in Asia that the Forbes List or the media could never write about literally. They were paid to not write about them. Their mothers were all futurologists who met at a conference in Berlin where they presented the idea of having this University in Asia. Backed by the Southeast Asian Coalition, the International Union funded the project without second thoughts. Their moms were the reason that the Axseania was even standing in the first place. The Queens are all in senior college now.
They didn't use their parents' influence—they have their own power. The Queens were not only perfect, gorgeous, beautiful and awfully rich. Most importantly, they were all over exceptionally talented and devilishly intelligent. Guys and girls alike looked up to them. Guys worshipped them and got intimidated while some girls were jealous and insecure of them, but mostly respected them. Because they compete with no one, no one could compete with them.
Krash bit her lip and her brows met. "First thing, God help you if they hear you pronouncing their names wrong."
"Man, they're that sensitive?" Ram scratched his jaw.
"How then?" Khrav asked.
"The letters y on Machyllyn's name are silent. And the s's on Chassiah's name is pronounced like the letter z. As for Rafflienne her first name is read as it is but her full second name, don't you dare say it. The Y-l-l on Ylleniah is read as eel. But on her nickname the Y-l-l is pronounced as isle. They once had a guy thrown in a cave of Sumatran tigers in a wildlife restoration site in Indonesia owned by Yllie's family for pronouncing her first name wrong."
"Great." Khrav exclaimed annoyingly.
But Krash was just starting.
"Filipino-Swedish, Machyllyn Vandriana, the leader and the youngest of The Queens is a Fashion Major. All guys-"
Khrav interrupted Krash. "Most." He paused. "You mean most."
She pursed her lips.
"No, Khrav, all. And stop interrupting me. All the guys in this university worship her. They'd fall at her feet any time of the day. Students, teachers, the directors, the chancellor, the shareholders. They'd do anything for her in a hummingbird's heartbeat. She hates men for some reason, and she treats all men like trash. She's an heir to an insurmountable Vandrium fortune as I heard. He has a brother. He also studied here and has already graduated. She has fashion shows all throughout Asia and the world. She's normally excused for emergency runway shows in her classes but she still tops the exams. She's also known for not having a boyfriend for more than a day. I think she's only inclined to wear the darkest of colors, especially black and red. She's known for having a bad temper, she's also unapologetically sarcastic as you've noticed, ruthless and blunt. She always looks fierce, serious and intense or pissed off."
Khrav shot her a sardonic smile.
"You couldn't have just said she has a resting bitch face?"
"It's not a resting bitch face, it's a talk-to-me-and-I'll-fuck-up-your-life-and-everything-you-love-and-make-you-watch face. It does hurt that she is savagely beautiful, viciously sexy and frustratingly gorgeous."
"Singaporean-Thai, Chassiah Shiwadee, known to be the classiest, chilliest, kindest, and most quiet of The Queens, is a Music Major."
Khrav was all ears this time.
