-Staying with Ventus as he was asleep was a long, exhausting task. You couldn't wake him up.no matter how hard you would try. Luckily, you could go out sometimes, you would use that time to gather food from the land around.
-Some days, you would just sat down near Ventus and talk to him.
"Don't worry, they wouldn't be long. They will be here very soon, Aqua promised me..."
But other days, it happened, you would just go in the room's corner, crying your heart out.
"Aqua, Terra...why are you taking so long ...?"
-Bit by bit, you started to fall into a deep depression. You lose the notion of time. Without Ventus' presence, it was no doubt death would be near.
-You needed to talk to Ven everyday. There was no one besides you two here, and hearing the voice of someone, even yourself, was extremely important for your mental health.
-You took the ritual to watch the night going down and up each day, so you started to count the days.
-But quickly enough, you realized with horror....weeks were passing...turning into months.
-The day you realized there was a whole year you were here, you had a mental breakdown and cried
-One year and 3 months...you stopped counting the days.
-You woke up this night crying like crazy.
"WHERE ARE YOU ?! WHY NOBODY IS COMING ?!"
-One year and 6 months...you started losing weight. Your will to be saved started to go down. The nights are long, painful.
-Two years...your weight went down to an alarming rate. You stopped smiling.
"...Aqua...Terra..should be dead now..."
You whispered in a small voice.
One night, Ven communicated with your heart.
"Don't lose hope. I'm sure they will come."
You weren't believing it, but somehow it gave you a little glimmer of hope.
-Two years and a half. You started to forget why you were even here. But at least, it was becoming a routine.
You started to draw on the wall with your nails, since you couldn't cut them.
-The routine was here, and somehow, after three years, you were feeling better. Starting to feel better, at least.
To avoid Ven's body to have blood problems, you would move him everyday around.
You started to gain weight again but you weren't really able to smile anymore.
To be honest, you were really starting to look like a shadow of who you were before.
-Four years..
To you, it was clear as day. You won't be saved.
Ventus was everything you had. You surprised yourself cuddling around him.
"If only you were awake...at least, I would be able to talk with you until we die here..."
For you it was sure you would die here, in a place forgotten by everyone and by time itself.
-Four years and a half...
Your mental state wasn't the best. You were really becoming a shadow of yourself.
Ventus was more and more present in you, may be his voice only but this was your last resort against insanity now.
