-Your story was not common. Since you were 3, you were actually the adoptive daughter of the most powerful wizard of all time : Yen Sid. You had almost no memories of your parents, if not the star-shaped charm you were wearing as a pendant.

-You weren't fond of living here. Living in a tower wasn't fun but living with Yen Sid ? That was really not fun. He was making you study magic everyday since you could read. But all you managed to learn was Cure. Learning spells was a long, exhausting task, hence why you always kept your magic book with you.

-Since you came here, you always felt off. Like something wasn't right, and this was disturbing you. You were smart for your age, so you knew talking about it to Yen Sid was not a good idea. So you were always cheerful around him, keeping your doubts to yourself.

-Yen Sid wasn't very loving as a father, he was like your mentor than anything. However, as you recently turned 8, your doubts were becoming really too stressful for you. So you decided to ask him for advice.

-You came to his desk and explained him everything. That you were having weird thoughts since years, as if something was wrong. At first, Yen Sid said nothing, but you insisted.

"Please, Master ! I want to know !"

Moreover, you wanted to know what happened to your parents and who they were.

The old Master finally explained to you what happened : your mother was a Keyblade Master, and she disappeared after fighting another Keyblade Master.

"We are trying to locate her but we didn't find her yet, and she put you with me before fighting the other warrior."

He ended by that, your face was now betraying your sadness that you never knew you were holding back until know.

It wasn't like something was off, its because something was..not here. Or more like : someone.

-The days after that news, you were sad and hopeless. Each evening, you sat down on the stairs outside, looking at the stars.

This night, you were here too, small tears falling down as you glanced over your charm.

"Mama...is it a gift from you ?"

The charm suddenly started to glow as an answer, in a light more and more stronger. Like a call.

You grabbed your book.

"I don't know where you are, but I'm coming !"

-You got engulfed by the light as the setting around you changed. You closed your eyes cause the light was way too strong but you opened them back just after.

You were in a totally different place, dark, silent...creepy.

You swallowed your saliva and for a moment, you thought you were dead. You poked yourself several times, you could feel...you were alive.

You held your book close to your chest and shyly started to advance. The surroundings were empty, but that was only creating an even more ominous atmosphere.

You sobbed a little as your Wayfinder charm started to glow again, as to guide you. You ran in the endless dark world, until you reached a little cliff. Climbing up, you saw nothing but shadows started to form around you.

Heartless appeared, making you scream of panic.

"M-monsters !"

You grabbed your book and tried to hit one on its head with it.
