-You're a person living in the real world, working for King Mickey as one of his computers engineer. One day, you receive an alert : the King had vanished into the virtual world of a journal. You immediately were assigned to try finding a solution.
-Unfortunately, you couldn't make much, and as you were searching for a solution, you got wrapped inside the journal as well.
-You landed into the cyber world Olympus Coliseum as bugs and heartless appeared in front of you. Obviously, you had no weapon of your own, as you were just a computer scientist. You couldn't scream either, you were mute from birth. So you chose your only option : running away.
-You quickly got cornered as a black coat hooded figure emerged from shadows and slashed the bugs with his Keyblades.
You froze up, a bit scared as the hooded figure approached you. Scared for him to be a stronger bug, you indicated him to not approach in sign languages.
The boy took his hood down.
"No need to be afraid, I'm not an enemy."
The blonde spiked hair boy slightly smiled to you.
"Who are you ? I have a feeling you aren't from here."
You tried to explain him with sign languages but he couldn't understand obviously...so you pointed the sky.
"I see. You're from the real world..."
The spiky haired boy suddenly looked bitter and you stressed out a little. He couldn't understand you so you has to find a way to communicate with him."Well, good luck. And watch out for heartless."
As the boy was about to leave, you ran to him and grabbed his sleeve. You gave him a worried look and he understood that.
"Okay... you can come with me. But don't slow me down."
You nodded and followed the boy. He was somehow your only ally here.
-Your journey wasn't a walk in the park. Monsters were often attacking you and the best you could do was hiding until the boy slashed them apart.
He wasn't very talkative but at least you weren't alone.
One day, you two were sat down when he suddenly leaned over your shoulder. Your face became red.
"I need to rest a little... I'm tired from this. .."
You got confused. Virtual beings can't be tired... or do they?
You poked the boy.
"What?"
You blinked of confusion, raising an eyebrow and shrugging.
"I'm not physically tired. I can't. But this mission is really starting to get on my nerves..."
You tilted your head. He slightly blushed, looking away.
"That's not your problem..."
You puffed your cheeks and poked him again and again until he really turned red.
"Stop that!"
You silently giggled. The boy was maybe rough in battle but he was adorable outside them.
"Fine.. I'll tell you. I'm following a boy who is basically a data-version of my other self. I have to help him understand something. That's my mission."
You tilted your head. That wasn't easy to understand but you ended up smiling and patting his head.
He made a flustered face.
"Roxas.. "
You blinked as he turned to you.
"That's my name."
You nodded, blushing. You were feeling good with him. But he was not a human at all. He wasn't different from any program.
Roxas closed his eyes, his head on your shoulder.
"Now, let me sleep."
You nodded, slowly stroking his back as you could feel he was relaxing himself.
You decided to not care about what he was. He was your friend.
-The rest of the journey was less stressful for the both of you. Roxas was more friendly and smiled more often.
You took the habit to comfort him when he was feeling down. You knew it was about this mission of him yet you wouldn't insist to know more.
But one day...
"It looks like my mission is coming to his end."
You tilted your head.
"The next place I have to go will be the last. I might disappear... it's pretty much probable."
You put your hands on your mouth, crying.
You were horrified to hear that.
Not because you would alone against heartless but because you were losing a dear friend.
You ran to him and hugged him tight, shaking a bit as he hugged you back.
"I wish we could find another way... but I have to do it. It's the reason of my existence..."
You internally broke.
And you ? Weren't you anything for him ?You heard a sob and your doubts disappeared. The boy released you and put his hood up, but you could see his face was wearing sadness.
"Well.... see you again."
He said before vanishing into a dark corridor. You stayed here, crying as you saw everything distord around you.
You noticed you were back in the real world. You grabbed your computer and hugged it, crying and falling on your knees.
Your journey with Roxas was short...but you were extremely sad and guilty.
You cursed your mutism for a moment. You didn't have the time to tell him your true feelings.
-"I'll show you what real hurt is!"
As planned, Roxas fought Sora. He was angry over himself.
Why didn't I tell her the truth?
Is it because she's a human and I'm not?!Roxas unleashed his anger on Sora in a violent battle but he lost.
After delivering his words on Sora, he was about to come back to him but stopped, smiling sadly.
"Take care of her."
Sora didn't have the time to ask cause Roxas entered him once.
The hero saw Roxas memories of you and shed a tear, holding his chest.
"You loved her..."
