I woke up to two missed calls. One from my mom and another from miracle. Nun from an unknown number which would be Ace.
Maybe my plan wasn't as effective as I thought it would be. Or perhaps he was playing hard
to get. puhf i'll deal with it later. I curled back up in my cover and turned my tv on flipping through the many channels trying to find spongebob.
Once I found it i grab my phone and texted my mom to see what she needed.

hey mommy, you called, do u need me to come over or something?

Hello baby girl no no I was just checking in on you and seeing how you were but could you come over this weekend? We're having a get together for me if you know it all ends soon.
after re reading that message I called her, I absolutely hated when she talked like this.
"hey ma"

"hey baby why didn't you just message me?"

"ma your not dying i'm making sure of that."

"honey I told you about being involved in the kinda stuff."

"ma i'm straight and you we'll be to just trust me now imma come to this get together but your not dying okay?

And with that I hung up getting out my bed to get ready for the day.
I needed to find a way to get close to Ace. No telling how hard this well all be. I'll just start by rolling through his hood and seeing if I can bump into him
"coincidentally".

I let my natural curls fall freely as I applied light makeup and lip gloss. I grabbed my keys and was on my way.
Once I got in my car seeing my phone ringing with an unknown number!!
I answered coolly not wanting to seem suspicious.
"hello?"
"wassup" he deep voice boomed through my phone speakers
"who is this?" I played it of as if I wasn't blushing
he kissed his teeth before responding "man do play wimme"
"Ace?" I questioned knowing fool well it was him
"nahh the post man" he said kissing his teeth again as I laughed
"hey ace how's it going?"
"i'm good I was wondering if you wanted to slide through?"
"sure just let me run a couple errands and we can meet up some were."
"ight bet let's meet at park mall at around 2?" and
"sounds good i'll see you later"
"fo sho"
We laughed and hung up as I went on my way to do my many things.

I pulled up to the mall just siting in my car for a minute trying to clear my mind. I just got done dropping off my niece at afternoon class and i was wopped.
I checked how I looked surprisingly I still looked good, I was dressed in a red shirt with some black jeans and my black vans. I grabbed my mk bag and got out my car locking the doors and walking in the mall.

Just great. Exactly what I needed.
I entered the mall and went to VS they were having a sale going on and I wanted some new underwear and bras.
After flipping through a couple items and choosing what I wanted I went to check out.
"Did you find everything fine today ma'am?"
"yes I did thank you"
"wow you're- wow" the male cashier said causing me to stare at him with confusion all over my face
"excuse me?" I questioned
"you're gorgeous" he stated still amazed
I was taken a back that I couldn't find words to respond with
"She is isn't she?" I heard Aces voice boom from behind me as I felt his arm snake around my waist.
The boy nodded his head ringing up the last of my items and banging them for me
"your total is $164" the young boy said he couldn't be any older than 18
I reached in my purse to get my card but Ace already swiped his and grabbed my bags basically pulling me out the store as I laughed
"What was that about?" I asked him curious
"You think imma let that lil white boy fuck before I do?" he said sitting down in one of the food court chairs.
"you wild asl" I said sitting down in the chair across from him
"so let's go back to my place" he said looking me in my eyes
"all you niggas wanna do is fuck" I laughed out looking at him back
"so let me know sum about you then" he said licking his lips leaning back slightly
"like what?"
"what's your favorite color?"
"grey"
"I anit eva heard that being someone's favorite color" he said examing me more if possible
"like I said I ain't nun of these bitches you fucked with before" I said drinking from my water bottle gazing behind him at nothing.
he just nodded his head looking over my face i'm not quite sure what he was looking for but I put it to rest as we sat there in complete silence besides the many nosies you'd hear in a food court.

Just as I wanted to say something my phone rung it was my mom
"hey mommy"

"hey baby, I was calling to ask if you could pick your little sister up from school today your dad and I both have work"

"yeah I will but why you still going to work I thought you quit?"

"I did and I didn't, baby don't worry about it"

"don't try to over do it all mom you'll kill yourself"

"okay honey and thank you i'll see you this weekend"

"Okay ma take it easy"
I hung up to see Ace staring at me probably trying to figure out the conversation I just had.
"May I help you?" I slightly laughed at him
"Nahh" he laughed back
"Look I gotta go but we should do this again" I got up from where I sat picking my bags up
"Maybe if you stop playing we can do more than this" he said as he got up as well laughing historically

"What ever bye" I said as he waved me good bye walking off into the distance as I did the same.

Now that I had his number things should be much easier.
