I sat on my balcony taking in the warm summer air. Ever since that new nigga rolled into town I didn't get messages from my boss about ace. I was cool on it though, I was using my free time just getting to know my self better and really having me time.

My family has been on my back about ace though wanting to meet him and all, I of course dodge those questions and I all ways changed the subject before we got to deep in it. I knew that it wasn't going to be in contact with Ace and even if I was you think I would let him get close with my family?

It was still very early in the day and I didn't have much to do today. I was going to go to the trap today to see what was happening with my 'task'. While I had money I didn't have over 200k just sitting around to drop on my moms health care. Trust me I would if I could.

I needed to see what was happening and if I was getting paid, I am going to head that way around 1. Around then its not to crowded in the house so I can get in and get out. As for the rest of my time I am going to chill then after I leave the trap Imma make my way to my moms house.

Around 12.30

I exited my car walking towards the doors of the trap. I opened them a the strong smells of weed hit me as I saw new and old workers running around. When I kept on walking I saw naked girls counting money which wasn't something new for me. It was just the many new faces that got me.

I walked to the main office and knocked on the door. When opened I was greeted with a big buff man that any one would be scared but really he was just a big sweet heart.

"Hey Jeff" I said smiling at him as he looked down at my small frame "Hey d"

He stepped aside and let me in and I saw the man from before and my old boss.

"Wassup" the man sitting in the chair said to me as I eyed him he had to be the one bringing all this new people in, didn't matter to me as long as I was getting my check at the end of the day.

"hey so I was on a mission so to say to get close to ace so you all can attack him and I wanted to see if that was still on because I haven't been told anything lately"

"yeah you still on that but what you get out of it?" he said blowing smoke out

I thought it was clear what I wanted I guess not.

"My moms is sick so he promised to pay for her health care" I said pointing towards my former boss.

"ohh Ight is that all you want in return because ace is pretty hard to crack I should know I was his best friend ?" he asked me laughing slightly at the fact he betrayed his own friend

What in the hell, now I know what I am doing is low but that lower yo.

"I mean not really just help with my moms" I said ion wanna have to give these niggas nothings nothing else to hang over my head.

"Ight nice doing work with you, take that duffle bag of money take two stacks out and drop it off to the location imma send you ,the rest yours, its some weed in there too. if you want it."

he was nice maybe a bit too nice but what money is money and Ill probs just give to weed to someone.

I nodded my head and picked the duffle bag up stuffing my hands in my pockets I left out thinking that went better than expected.I swiftly walked out and waved bye to Jeff. I made it to my car and looked at my phone for the address, once I got the text I put it in my gps and started on my way there.

Ngl the town it was in was af. I stopped the car , changed in to my all black hoodie and made my way towards a man that matched the photo. "wassup" he spoke "none" I said sliding him the money as he handed me two bag of powder.

Just as I stuffed it in my pocket shots went off as I ducked behind a bush pulling my gun out.

"Aye we got that nigga but theres someone else" I heard a female voice yell out as I gripped my gun tighter ready to shot. just then I felt hand wrap around my neck.shit!

The grip got tighter as another came closer. It was ace. How the hell do I keep running into him.

"let her go" he said as his eyes met mine. I quickly broke it seeing as I was in the middle of a deal.

"what you doing out here?" he questioned looking me up and down as I fixed my self

"Minding mines" I said eyeing the girl who had me in a choke hole

"Where you get that?" he asked pointed at my gun

"An old friend" I said putting it away

"ace we gotta go" The girl said with an attitude looking at me

"you got a problem?" I said to her

"girl don't start I just had you in a choke hole" she said rolling her eyes

"no bitch don't start with me or I will have you six feet under" I said reaching behind my back where my gun was.

"aye chill all that out" Ace said looking at me

"Ight I gotta go" I said walking off towards my car were I took of my hoodie with the 'powder' in it and put it on the floor making sure it stayed covered.

Ace ran over to my car and stopped at the window "You good" he asked I nodded wondering how much he had seen

"Ight well stay away from people like that nigga he bad news" he said as he walked away.

If only he knew, I was the bad news.

I walked into the trap for the last time today and handed Jeff the powder, I then left and headed towards my family house. I wanted to stop for food but I knew my momma was gon have something for me to eat, she always did.

I slowly walked up the stone pavement that lead to their door, I walked right in and the smell of home and food hit me.
"Hey D" my sister said walking from down the stairs as her friend followed waving at me as my and my sister hugged.

"Hey baby where everybody at"

"out back and they swimming" She said going to talk on the phone as I headed out back. Every time I visit I feel like the house just keep getting bigger.

I opened the sliding glass back door and saw all my family and some close friends all gathered around. My dad was on the grill and when he saw me his face lit up. I ran over to him to hug him and we caught up.

Now don't get me wrong I love my mom but my dad is my favorite parent, just seeing how hard he worked for the family and all he sacrificed for me and my sister to be were we are today. My daddy deserves the whole world and nothing less.

My dad got back to his food as I went to my mother who was looking much better.

"Hey mom" I said as she looked at me

"Oh I do have a child" she laughed with her friends

"how-" she stopped me standing up

"i have an speech to make" she hushed me standing in the middle as every one looked at her

"Now we all no lately I haven't been having the best luck with my health. So at first the reason I put this all together was as a going away party for me. But the I saw all the amazing things I had, Like a daughter who is willing to go to the end of the world for my health care, and a wonderful husband and cheerful twin daughter. I knew I couldn't just leave them all like that. So at my doctors app. lately I have been getting better. And I am slowly yet surely recovering. And I am glad to say the lord is healing me and imma be around for much much longer. So this is no longer a going away party, this is a celebration party!"
