"Derek. Say something?"

"Anna, You need to stop doubting yourself, you are different from all the other girls that want me and that's why I choose you, I don't want any other girl, heck I don't want a girl like everyone else I want a girl that is different and beautiful and amazing. And Anna that is you."

I was speechless. I didn't know what to say or do I just froze, all I could hear was my heart pounding.

I think it's time to tell you the whole story and yes I mean the beginning, to when Anna and Derek FIRST met and how things got so completed and confusing like we all can tell that they both like each other but as you can tell THEY don't know it till the end.

*** Back to grade 8, June 23, 2015. ***

Anna's POV

"Guys! We are graduating in 4 hours!!" I yelled excitedly at my best friends.

"I KNOW RIGHT!! Like when did we grow up to be able to graduate!" pointed out Aaron.

All Alicia had to say was "Well at least we made it out together like the besties we are, but no kidding that was a long shot for us to graduate!!"

We were always best friends and had each other's backs and never gave up on any one of us, I can't believe that we made it this far, like in a little more than 2 months we are going to be in high school isn't this great... Or so I thought, I didn't know what graduation was going to be like but it turns out that this was going to be one of the nights that we all will remember but not because of the happy times more of the embarrassing moments.

As I got dressed for grade 8 graduation all I could think was how surprised I was that I am actually graduating like seriously me out of everyone is graduating it's really surprising and amazing!

When we went to buy my grad dress it was a purple shade, and we had to go for a shorter dress then I'd like because I am too big to fit in the nice long dresses since they were made for thinner girls, like come on why not make extra sizes for the bigger sized lady's like those were REALLY pretty dresses.

Once we got to the church where we graduated we had to go into a room and get in line alphabetically, which makes total sense right?

Anyways when we got into our line we were told when to walk and where to walk before we got out there so we wouldn't be a total wreck in front of all our parents.

Once we got to my line to go up I got excited and happy at that moment, once we sat down everything was great we were happy and everything seemed great like wow everything was perfect.

I zoned out of half of the grad speeches until I heard the resource teacher that helps me since I have an I.E.P talk her name is Mrs. Bond, "This award goes to a very well working student, and we think she deserves this award because she has had a really hard time given her circumstance, that we all believe that she has earned this award since she has kept high academic grades..."

Every few seconds that the resource teacher talks about a girl doing great this girl in my class that also has an I.E.P. Her name is Olivia, she kept whispering "She's talking about me, that's me! She's talking about me!" but we were all shocked when she finished her speech

"We would like to present this award of Academic Achievement to... Anna Peters." I was shocked and surprised once I got up there. I thanked her and she congratulated me.
