The reason Peggy is only mentioned once is because she died. Her real name was Margarita. She was extremely smart and witty. Once, when the Schuyler home was attacked, the family ran upstairs but forgot one of the children. Peggy snuck downstairs and saved her.
Jasmine Cephas-Jones, who plays Peggy, also plays Maria Reynolds.
