{ narrator } hi im maya. and im going to tell you the story of how i met the love of my life. it started junior year, but even before junior year i had lost more than i could afford. not money wise or product wise.. i lost something the world can never replace.
mom: its ur first day and you are not missing it, lets go!
i got up. i didnt want to. i wished that i could stay locked in there forever. i didnt eat, i was in the dark, i was alone.
maya: okay..
i got ready and my mom dropped my off at school. of course, people stared. they all knew about what had happened. i wished i could've disappeared.
?: hey im really-
maya: okay i have to go..
i ignored everyone and went to my locker. i already knew junior year was going to draining.
?: im really sorry about ur brother..
maya: look i dont want to be rude but i don't want to talk about it.
?: im daniel.. i used to be friends with ur brother
maya: oh. im sorry, he used to say you were his best friend
best friends? i thought other wise. where was he when the incident happened.
daniel: i know you're probably blaming me. but i wasn't in the state while it happened, i tried to tell him he should get out of it.
maya: i dont wanna talk about it
my brother was the only one who understood. he was about to go off to college. i really wished he was there to help me through that year of school
