she looked at me and smiled, even her teeth were perfect. my self esteem shot down.
?: hi im destiny.
maya: im maya, um ur perfect
destiny: please ur so flawless. show me ur ways
we became friends instantly. i was kind of glad i had made a friend even after everything. my friends stopped talking to me after my brother passed away because they didn't want to see me hurt but adding more to it made it worse. the rest of the day was kinda boring, i decided to hang out with des after school.
destiny: ok so my boyfriend and his friend are coming with us. is that okay with you?
maya: of course, the more the merrier.
we both giggled. she made me feel insecure.. i didn't say anything because she would feel bad and that isn't my intention.
destiny: this is my boyfriend carlos. this is his bestfriend alex.
we all shook hands. his friend was brown-haired, it was slicked to the side. he had pearly , white shiny teeth that could kill. he smiled at me, a friendly smile. a guy as attractive as him would obviously have a girlfriend. right?
alex: you guys can go in my car so we dont have to take two cars if you want.
carlos: alright im sitting in back w des so you can sit with alex in the front.
maya: alright
he shot a smile at me again. i forgot how to act for a moment. but i swore that i had seen him before. i'd like to add that carlos and alex were both seniors at the time. while me and des were still juniors. the car ride seemed silent to me. in reality it wasn't. des and carlos were talking, me and alex... well we didn't talk.
