Carrie's P.O.V

We walked toward a black door and he was nice enough to open it for me.I walked in and there was a tall pale man without a face in a suit and tie sitting down on his desk."Please,sit."He said in a deep,calm voice and I sat down in front of him."So,you are Carrie,correct?" I nodded my head."It's nice to meet you Carrie." He held out his pale bonny hand and I shook it and gave him a shy smile.He looks like a pretty nice guy."Do you know who I am?" "Yes,you're slenderman right?" He nodded his head and I smiled."Well Carrie,I suppose you are wondering why you are here.So I will tell you.Jefferey has brought you here so you will be safe,And we need your help." "My help?...For what?" "Allow me to explain.We have been in this battle against Lord Zalgo for centuries.Durring our last battle we have put him in a deep slumber,and he appears he has awoken.We fear that he maybe even more stronger from our last battle.We have sent two of our most skilled fighters out to search for him if he was near,but they have never returned.And I fear that Lord Zalgo has taken them.That is where you come in Carrie,you have very special abilities that will help us win this war." "So...You want me to fight him?" He nodded his head and I looked up at Jeff.I was in shock."I-I don't know,I'm not that good of a fighter.I just-" "Carrie,we really need your help.We can't fight him on our own.Please?"Jeff said with his hand on my shoulder.I thought about it for a second and I let out a sigh."Okay...I'll do it." "Good.We have a spare room for you to sleep in,Jeff will show you where it is.He will also be training you until that day arrives.If you have any questions,you are always welcome to come to my door." "Thank you" I said with a smile and I stood up walking out the door.Jeff showed me my room and I walked in.The walls were painted red with a black carpet.There were two doors both in black,one to the closet and the other to the bathroom.Also with a large bed with grey sheets."Make yourself at home.I'll be in the living room if you need me."He said as he walked out the door and closed it behind him.I walked over to the bed and sat down.I was lost in my thoughts.Who was this "Lord Zalgo" guy? Mama never told me that there was more of them...I felt pretty tired so I thought I would take a little rest.I heard a knock at the door and I slowly opened my eyes.I glanced at the window and realized that it was dark out.How long was I sleeping? I got up and walked toward the door.I opened it and to my surprise,it was the elf boy."H-Hi" "Hey..." "I-I came up here to um...to say that I was sorry.I didn't mean to yell at you earlier..." "Okay" I got out of my room and closed the door behind me and we both walked down the stairs.The smell of roasted chicken has greeted my nose when we entered the kitchen.I saw Jeff near the stove and everyone else was at the table talking to each other.I didn't want to be rude so I decided to help Jeff out a little."Hey Jeff,need some help?" I asked shyly.then he looked up and smiled."Sure,you can pass the plates around." I nodded my head and grabbed the plates from his hands.I passed out the plates and Jeff passed the food around and we both sat down.After a while of eating Slenderman spoke."Well Carrie.since we are all here I suppose we should have a chance to introduce ourselves.You know me and Jeff,so why don't we let the boys have a turn." "I'm Ben" The elf boy said with a smile. "I'm Eyeless Jack,but you can call me E.J. or Jack for short."said the blue masked boy."Hi! I'm Sally!" The little girl said brightly and giggled,I thought she was adorable."I'm Laughing Jack.But please,call me L.J." said the man with black messy hair and a spyral pointy nose."Is this all of you?" I asked."No,the rest of us went out hunting.Also we lost some along the way."Slender said.I glanced at Jeff and he looked down at his plate.Maybe I shouldn't ask who..."Well,how about we ask you some questions,try to get to know you better?" Ben said."Okay,like what?" "Do you eat kidneys?" E.J.asked and I giggled."Sorry,but I never tried one before." Ben's smile grew wider on his face."How did you survive after the incident?" L.J. asked.I opened my mouth to speak,but nothing came out.I looked down at my plate and spoke."Um...to be honest,I have no idea.I think my powers had something to do with it...I thought moving stuff around and being able to control people were my only powers but now I'm not so sure." "Perhaps your powers had increased to make you immortal." Slender said.All of this was so confusing.Maybe I should show them what else I could do..."Jeff?" I asked and he looked up."C-Can I borrow your knife for a second?" He nodded and handed me his knife from his pocket."There was something else I discovered a few days ago.I thought about giving up my life when this happened." I said rolling down my sleeve.They all looked at me confused.I brought the knife to my wrist and slowly pressed the sharp blade on my skin,red liquid ran down my arm."Watch"I said and they were all shocked when the cut was slowly healing on its own."That's so...Cool!" Ben said with an excited expression."But wait....Why did you want to 'give up your life'?" E.J said.I looked down and I closed my eyes for a second and I felt a cold hand on mine and I knew it was Jeff's."Its okay Carrie,you can tell us if you want..."I looked up again and let out a deep breath."I guess...I was upset.I mean,I killed my own mom.She tried warning me but I wouldn't listen...She said she thought that my dad gave her a cancer when I was born.I got mad and scared and it was my fault that she died.I didn't mean to hurt her,and now she's gone." Just then my eyes started to glow and the table started to shake.Plates were flying everywhere along with glass cups and kitchen knifes and the whole mansion started to shake.Jeff rushed to my side trying to calm me down.I shook my head as a tear was rolling down my cheek."She's gone because of me! It's all my fault!!" "No! Carrie! Listen to me! I know you miss her but you got to calm down! Everything will be okay!" "NOO!!!!" I felt rage,I wanted to scream and destroy everything in sight.But I felt two arms around me and I gasped.My eyes stopped glowing and I looked around.Knifes were on the the wall,glass shattered,and everyone behind a flipped table.I felt guilty...I made things more worse than it already was."I'm...I'm so sorry" I whispered."It's okay Carrie,you'll be okay." I slowly stood up,walking over to the guys to see if they were okay.They were.But they all looked kinda afraid.Exept for slender.He had no expression on his face what so ever.I backed away and started running up the stairs.I got into my room and slammed the door shut.I ran my hands through my hair in fustration.Why am I cursed with these powers?!.WHY ME!!???
