I'm not exactly sure what I think about this. I was going to do a remake of one of my favorite books but I didn't have enough inspiration at the time. Borealis Graphics, the first things I thought of when I saw it was the northern lights. I tried to incorporate some of the Borealis colors in the sky. I kind of have it but when I started to do highlights and coloring I just kinda killed the green.
The dragon sitting in her lap is to resemble all of the dragons that thelightbender have had on her covers. I know that Angle loves dragons and it is something I associate with the word. I'm not sure what I was thinking about the leaves, its not entirely geographically accurate because topical trees don't grow in the north...
The smoke was to resemble a more magical and fantasy feeling into the cover. When I saw the smokey was like YAHHSS smokey text here I come. (I'm not sure if you guys remember that stage in my graphics) I'm not sure what I think about this because the overall concept is kind of strange. Although it looks alright I'm not sure how I will do with the competitors.
