In which Jungkook can't help but need Taehyung to rest easy and simply get through the day. Or, truths seem to be getting released left and right whether they are ready to face them or not.

"Ugh, I'm so exhausted." Taehyung groaned as he and Jungkook finally reached their apartment floor.

"I couldn't agree more. I mean seriously, who shoots till 11pm and then insists on going to karaoke?" Jungkook complained as they walked to their respective doors.

"I swear director Park needs more friends. These cast gatherings are way too exhausting." Taehyung said with a whiny sigh.

"Agreed." Jungkook replied as he punched into the door's keypad.

Taehyung looked over at him longingly.

When Jungkook turned to say goodnight Taehyung opened his mouth to speak, but quickly stopped himself. The younger didn't miss the way his costar bit his lip as if he was holding back his words.

"Well, I'll see you in the morning I guess?" Jungkook said while awkwardly shuffling his feet.

"Y-Yeah. Goodnight Kook." Taehyung said with an unsure smile.

"Goodnight Tae." Jungkook smiled back before turning into his unit.

The elder sighed and closed his door behind him.

Why couldn't he have just asked Jungkook to stay over?

He already knew how the younger felt about him, and he doubted that he'd decline, but he was still hesitant. Maybe things were different now that they were back.

Their trip to Daegu having been a fleeting moment that they'd soon forget. Maybe he was just scared. Scared to confront the obvious feelings he had for Jungkook, scared to love and get hurt again. He didn't understand how in such a short time another person had managed to shake up his life so much.

Resolving not to let thoughts of his bunny-toothed neighbor prevent him from sleeping, Taehyung washed his face and peeled off his clothes. He pulled on a shirt and was instantly hit with the smell of vanilla, the sleeves were huge and the hem ghosted over his slim thighs.

He smiled to himself and allowed Jungkook's comforting scent to wash over him.

How he had wound up with the younger's shirt in his luggage was beyond him, but he was glad for it.

"Tae?" Jungkook whispered into the darkness of his room, his honey laced voice soothing all of Taehyung's worries and fears.

"Kookie, what are you doing here?" The elder asked ad he turned around with obvious shock.

"I couldn't sleep. I laid down in my bed and it was cold Taehyung, and not because I've been gone for four days. It was because it was empty. We literally said goodbye an hour ago and we're both exhausted but I couldn't even get comfortable without you next to me. I even drank that tea you made me last time, but it didn't work. I don't even like tea." Jungkook's words tumbled out of his mouth quick and unceremoniously as if he had forgotten whatever eloquent speech he had practiced.
