In which Vkook makes more room for each other, both in their hearts and their lives

Jungkook's eyes fluttered open and he groaned as he rolled over onto his side.
His slightly calloused index finger rubbing deftly across his sleep-laden eyes. He blinked, his previously hazy vision cleared, and he realized that Taehyung's side of the bed was empty.
The cool cotton that passed underneath the younger's fingertips suggested that Taehyung had been gone for quite some time.
Jungkook pushed himself upright and made his way to the bathroom. He brushed his teeth rather lazily, mind still clouded with the blissful sleep that his body had grown accustomed to since their return from Daegu.
How different his life had become in a few short months with a certain boxy-smiled brunette.
The younger couldn't help smiling himself at the thought.
Taehyung had come into his life so abruptly, and despite their first impressions, the two had somehow been able to call themselves friends.
Now, ironically, both he and Jungkook were pretty much inseparable. Life is funny that way. The people you try to avoid loving end up becoming apart of you, and the ones you try to cling onto eventually let go.
Jungkook mulled over those words.
He didn't really remember where he heard them or why they were said, but he had never believed them to be more true. When he finally found his boyfriend, he had been in the living room packing a pile of old books into moving boxes. The younger cocked his head to the side as he took in the sight of the young male. His sandy hair was pushed off his head by a red bandana, slightly disheveled, and speckled with bits of dust and lint.
"Why'd you leave?" Jungkook asked and observed him with a yawn.
"Because it's nearly 2. I know you've been waking up later and later these days, but some of us can't afford to sleep the day away." Taehyung said with a playful smirk.
He was wearing one of Jungkook's T-shirts, the white oversized fabric contrasting beautifully against his tanned skin.
"I only rest well after falling asleep next to you. Plus we didn't go to sleep until like 6! I would've woken up happily if you were there with me, but I see you left to do some dusting." Jungkook replied with sarcastic tone that made Taehyung smile.
"Very funny Jungkook. It's only dusty because I haven't touched most of this stuff since I moved in." The elder retorted.
Tiny beads of sweat materialized around his hairline and clung to the exposed skin of his neck and collarbones. To anyone else, the young actor would've looked messy. They'd probably wrinkle their nose at the amount of perspiring he was doing as he struggled to carry a stack of boxes, but to Jungkook he looked ethereal.
"You should've just woken me up if you needed help Tae. What are you doing with all of this stuff anyway?" The younger clicked his teeth unsatisfactorily as he relieved Taehyung of the heavy load.
"Thanks, you can put them by the door. I didn't want to wake you and for your information mister, I'm getting rid of 'all this stuff'." The elder replied as he set a lighter box down with the rest.
"Getting rid of it.. why? I'm the one who has to move out my stuff. We agreed to stay here." Jungkook reminded his boyfriend and furrowed his brows in confusion.
"To be honest, you were right. This place is kinda messy, and it's only fair that I clean up so we have room for your things." Taehyung admitted with a shy smile that the younger returned almost instantly.
