At around 6:55am on Thursday morning, Jack tells me he is going to work for a while because Sean said that he needed to confirm something with him.
"I'll only be gone for a few hours, maybe 3 maximum. But I'll be back for lunch" Jack says as he feeds Kyson his bottle while I make breakfast.
"Alright. I've got some errands to run, anyway", I respond.
"Great. I'll go get the kids" Jack says as he puts Kyson down in his swing and heads upstairs to the girls' room to have them get ready for the day.
When Jack gets to the girls' bedroom, he finds Julia and Lucy's toys completely scattered.
"Whoa, what happened in here? Did I miss the weather report about the tornado? I sure hope you took care of each other" Jack teased.
"No" Lucy laughed.
"I think you're right. It wasn't a tornado. I think it was a cyclone!!" Jack exclaimed as he picked the twins up in his arms and spins them around.
"Papa, papa! I love this!" they scream in unison out of pure delight.
"Okay. We've gotta get dressed. Mama's waiting with breakfast" Jack says.
"What did she make?" Julia asks.
"I don't know, you'll have to go downstairs and find out" Jack responds.
It takes Jack 10 minutes to get each of them dressed. At approximately 7:05, the twins are getting their bags packed.
"Wait a minute, where's my fox clip?" Julia asks.
"Where's my Elsa hair bow?" Lucy adds.
"Don't panic, babies. I think they are in your ribbon boxes" Jack replies as he races towards the boxes and grabs the correct hair accessory.
Just they head downstairs they hear Maddox stirring.
"Go downstairs and eat. I'll be there soon after I get your brother" Jack says.
"Okay" the twins respond as they make their way to the dining table to eat breakfast.

"Hi, Mama" I hear as I am greeted by my daughters who, I swear get more and more beautiful everyday as they grow.
"Good morning, my lovelies. Here's your breakfast. What do you both want to drink?" I ask as I serve them both a plateful of scrambled egg and a few red grapes.
As usual Julia asks for mango juice and Lucy asks for pineapple juice. Jack and I can never stress how different their personalities are despite them physically appearing exactly the same.
Just as I head towards the cupboard, get their cups and fill them with juice at the fridge, Kyson begins to stir and get fussy. But I am saved as Jack comes down the stairs with an upset Maddox looking for his milk.
As Jack gets Maddox's milk, he greets me good morning with a kiss on the cheek, then goes over to the bassinet to comfort Kyson.
By 7:32am, the twins are done with their breakfast and its time for them to get their jackets and shoes on to head to the bus stop. Maddox watches at the table with wide blue eyes as Jack helps the girls with their things and hands Kyson to me. After a few seconds, Maddox begins to scream and cry.
"Jack, look. Maddox thinks you're heading off to work" I gestured.
"Awe, don't cry, little man. I'll be right back, I promise" Jack assured the toddler.
