Hachirou stood next to a pink skinned girl when they got out on the field, waiting for Mr. Aizawa to join them. The girl turned to him and outstretched her hand, smiling brightly. "Hi! I'm Mina. I love your piercings, they give off, like, 90s bad boy vibes," she giggled.

He shook her hand, smiling back just as brightly. "Hachirou Sancho, and thank you! Your horns are absolutely adorable," he replied, laughing lightly when he saw her face light up at the compliment. They would have continued their conversation, but their teacher had finally joined the class.

Aizawa explained that they would be doing a quirk assessment test and that the student with the lowest score would be expelled. Hachirou didn't doubt that, an old classmate of one of his brother's was expelled on the third day of school.

The first test was a 50 meter dash, which wasn't a hard task to start off with. When it was his turn, he made the ground beneath him shoot up and forward to propel him to the finish line. "3.1 seconds," the machine reported. He smirked lightly in a soft glow of pride as he walked back to the class.

Test 2 was grip strength. He took off the glove on his right hand, revealing the wooden hand that was protruding from his wrist. He took the object and had the wood hold it down, his score being 220.0 kg.

Test 3 was the standing long jump. Hachirou used the same tactic he had used for the first test and cleared the sandbox.

Test 4 was repeated side steps. The boy had winds push him from either side, keeping himself in between the lines.

The final test was the ball throw. Hachirou knew by now that he was above the lowest place, so he didn't over do it. He had a wind take the ball 345.6 meters, but noticed the almost disappointed look that Aizawa gave him as he returned to the class.

He ranked in 4th place out of the 21 students, which he wasn't mad about. He zoned out for the rest of the time, barely overhearing that Midoriya won't be expelled. At this point the school day was over, so he waited for Sero at the door of the classroom as soon as he had collected his things.

"No, hear me out, you aren't hearing me out, dude, just listen— Cinderblock. Over your head. You get my drift?"

Hachirou turned to the door as he heard that very concerning conversation. Apparently the boy with yellow hair, Denki Kaminari, was listing things to break over Kirishima when he's using his quirk.

"Hear me out, Kaminari," Sero interrupted, going next to Hachirou as they all started to walk to the bus stop. "Brain damage isn't the cutest."

"Well.."

"Mina, stop, brain damage can't be one of your turn ons, I swear to god," Hachirou laughed, pushing the girl jokingly. The group piled onto the bus to go home.

"Hey look, Boom Boy is here! Let's go sit with him," Kaminari grinned, making his way to where the boy was sitting. Bakugou's face instantly turned even more angry then it was before as the group sat down.

Hachirou sat across from Bakugou, Kirishima next to the ash blonde, Kaminari next to him, Sero next to Hachirou and Mina next to Sero. Hachirou held in a laugh at how the boy looked like he wanted to explode, deciding to try and start conversation.

"So, Splosio—"

"That's not my name."

"—what's your favorite color? You give me major navy blue vibes, but I need an answer. Come on, Bakugou, don't just sit there, you've been screaming all day, your voice finally ware out?"

The ash blonde was confused. This boy had been annoying him all day and now he was asking a genuine question? Not one like 'did your mom drop you in a toilet or are you actually that much of a shithead,' he wanted to know his favorite color.

He wouldn't admit it, but that intrigued Bakugou. He noticed that the rest of the group was engaged in their own conversation, so he decided to lead the boy on a little bit, enough to make sure that wouldn't be the last time they talked.

"If you give me your number, maybe you'll find out, flower child."

With that, Bakugou rose from his seat and got off the bus, seeing as they had reached his stop. Hachirou fought off a blush as he looked down at the pin on his bag. 'Flower Child' with small golden designs. The thing about his number was probably just in a friend way, just a way for them to keep in contact outside of school. Not like a 'hey you're cute, I'm gonna flirt with you now' kind of way.

Right?
