it was.... tom and sabine how'd they find us? marinette's face was pale now but I wasn't scared if they tried something I would protect her, the I realised how they found us... the concert was live on the tv and they must've seen her perform oh shoot, they were glaring at her as she slowly got off the stage and walked over, "marinette what are you doing here?" tom spoke with a husky voice marinette looked at me with fear in her eyes and I got the massage " sir I've heard a LOT about you"I said hinting that i knew about the abuse but he decided to play dumb "how so?" "your daughter told me a lot about the way you are treating her" he looked surprised at first but quickly wiped the expression off his face he chuckled and said: "our daughter really is manipulative making you believe that nonsense" marinettes expression turned from confused to mad "what?"she yelled "your the manipulative ones who abuse their child tell her terrible things about herself and feel satisfaction after it" she yelled "yeah" I said "if shes allegedly making all of up where did who busted her lip and why would she try to manipulate me?" "cat noir everything has an explanation calm down, she doesn't have friends and nobody pays attention to her so she makes up stories about us abusing her and the busted lip is from her biting down on her lip, she always tries to sneak away to run but we can't let her" marinette was red from fury now " what? are you serious? cat noir you can't possibly believe these.. these liars" she said looking at me with pleading eyes "is... is this true? " I said looking at her as those words left my mouth she looked at me with eyes full of rage and.. betrayal "you believe these bastards?" "watch your language young lady!" sabine said grabbing her daughters arm marinette yanked it away "I can't believe it..... I trusted you! I told you about all my suffering and you just betray me like that? what kind of superhero are you?" she said disgusted "your just like everyone else.... only seeing what you want to see and backstabbing me" I don't know why but... my heart broke at those words she trusted me? " I-uh" I tried to say something but she stopped me "no, what you said was enough" her parents grabbed her and said: 'we'll take her home you don't need to bother yourself anymore and with that they left marinette stealing one more glance at me, I felt guilty letting her go but why? I did what was best she ran from home and I helped her I don't know maybe they were lying and she really gets abused or maybe she was lying.... I don't know anymore well I can't do anything now she's gone and I'd rather go back to the base it's getting late,
