Sirens are ringing,
Screams are booming;
Accusations are denied,
As shaky fingers are pointed.
A heartbeat is silent,
And breaths are held;
As people remembered,
The unforgiving stare.
Shame is plenty,
And everyone stared down;
Everything is silent,
As a reason to justify couldn't be found.
A life was ended tonight,
A life that was pure;
An innocent died tonight,
An innocent was killed.
