Chapter XI: The King's Heir

It has been 9 years since the battle against the Demon Prince Diablo. The Mermaid King and his now Queen Thassa just had there daughter. The Mermaid King and his 9 year old son Shi'Lo were sparring together in the courtyard. Shi'Lo was becoming more stronger by the day. As the Prince finally learn politics and weaponry in the university.

Shi'Lo was also the youngest member of the Kingsguard. Shi'Lo had learn many different ways and styles from being a member. However the King had watch his son become much like someone he knew. But the King also had three other son as well. Even through Shi'Lo was known as the King's secret.

However Shi'Lo was Atlantis favorite son and also the hated bastard within the neighbor kingdoms. Shi'Lo was indeed their top priority to must on his birth and how he is the next on the throne. King Tyren II and his wife Queen Thassa were getting ready to have their daughter Ariel within days. Lady Rila and Savern had been the prince's guardians as he became a student in the universe. Prince Shi'Lo and his brothers were always playful and charismatic on who was the strongest brother. King Tyren II knew his sons were stronger but also targets as well. The Tyren children were Shi'Lo, Krill, Caol, and Tyrion III and their sister who wasn't born yet Ariel. The Mermaid King was indeed still wondering about the his enemies had plan within 9 years. 

Savern had taken Prince Shi'Lo to the University to train and learn politics with his Kingsguard brothers. Grand-master Drake was in charge of the Mermaid King's secret trained guard. Grand-master Drake was hard on the Kingsguard members and also Shi'Lo on protecting the royal family. Queen Thassa didn't show her stepson Shi'Lo nothing but love and admiration. The Queen had seen and raise Shi'Lo since she held him when he was 6-months old. Lady Rila was keeping her sister the Former Queen Nahla updated with her family and Shi'Lo. Mother Nahla had left the city of Atlantis to be with her with her other so Dathan. King Tyren II had made his older brother Prime Minister of the Kingdom and also the next King. 

King Tyren II was indeed making plans to rebuild his forces and kingdom within his reach. Queen Thassa and Lady Rila began to prepare the feast for their daughter's birth as something was soon being shaken from the shadows. As the celebration began to unravel within the castle with the royal family. A stranger had appear entering city with a blue hood that cover his/her face. Lady Rila had ask the stranger to remove the hood before going inside the castle. The stranger removes the hood and continues his way inside to speak with the King himself. The Mermaid King looks at the gentleman with suspicions as he bows and says "The DeMearra Clan wants to speak with you and only you mi'lord" as he awaits for the King's answer. King Tyren II agrees to meet with the Grand-master of the DeMearra Clan as they began to leave the celebration. 

As the King finally makes his way to the DeMearra camp, he sees the clan living inside a once fortress that had was held under the Weak Ayleidic King. Cato DeMearra was the Grand-master of the DeMearra clan and also the strongest. Cato wanted the King to help his family and clan to fix an old beef. King Tyren II was familiar with the DeMearra history and their teachings with weaponry and  hunting. The King had ask Cato what he wanted from him and his kingdom. Cato told the king that he wanted peace between them and land to live and raise his family on. The King looks at Cato and began to ask where he wanted to live and raise his clan.

Cato told the King that Etlantia would be nice for him to grow his family and protect his people. The King had agree with one condition as he pulls out a note to write their agreement. King Tyren II wanted the DeMearra Clan to provide aid and training to his military power and the King would grant them security and materials for making armor and clothing. Cato DeMearra was satisfied with the terms before his wife had put her two cents within their discussion. Muriel DeMearra had demanded that the bastard son Shi'Lo would come to Etlantia to live among them to learn their ways. Queen Thassa had join the discussion as she overheard Muriel demand Shi'Lo.
