Chapter XIII: Mermaid King

As the battle was fierce between the Empress Dorianna, and King Faror IX as they clash against each other. The Mermaid King was making preparations on the Flamboyant King's catapults and armor troops. Empress Dorianna had a strong front-line that was pushing King Faror IX troops back as he was getting impatient with her tactics. However King Faror IX had order a surprise attack on her forces as well as the Mermaid King had already remove his plans. King Tyren II had interrupt the surprise attack against the Empress and her great nephew. Commandant had spot the Mermaid King coming across the sand as he jumps on him and they begin to fight. King Faror IX wanted to become the Emperor and take over the entire six kingdoms of Mermendya . Empress Dorianna had more land and power than any Mermaid or merman for over 500 years. She had held the Mermandyan Throne since she was a young mermaid. The Mermaid King was dealing with the Commandant as the battle had turn into a massacre .

Empress Dorianna had send a note to the camp of the Flamboyant King's wife  Aurid to surrender now. Queen Aurid was the main source and also a Knight of the Vorn and the daughter of the Dark Lord. Mermaid King had remove the Commandant from the battle as the King would have to fight and lead himself. King Faror IX was still trying to gain access  to the Empress camp. However the Empress finally broken through his defense and began to fight within the encampment. King Faror IX  had to return to assist his Queen as the Empress had began to attack their camp. As the King Faror IX saw the Empress within 5 feet from she had began to burn down the camp. But the Empress challenge King Faror IX to a duel as the Flamboyant King's wife had disappear from the battle. However the Mermaid King had found Queen Aurid  with her demon troops. Queen Aurid had plan to fight the Tyren bloodline since her father and brother had lost to them. Queen Aurid wanted to kill Tyrion Tyren II since her brothers death. 

The Mermaid King had began to fight the Queen within the cave were she had fled from the battle.  While King Faror IX was fighting the Empress within his encampment the fight had quick began to fall shorty after. The Empress had quickly slain the King and remove his necklace to find the last power source to the Demon Lord. The Mermaid King had taken Queen Aurid to her limit power as she began to transform into her real self. Queen Aurid had turn into a woman with tentacles and had grown 15 feet. Both the Mermaid King wasn't surprise about her power as he continue to fight the daughter of the Dark Lord. The Empress had finish searching for the power within the camp. As she enters the main tent she finds the power source it was King Faror IX son Meriian. Meriian was the power source that the Dark Lord was uses to open portals with the Realm of Mermendya. The Mermaid King had found the Queen Aurid's weak spot within her chest. However the Mermaid King finally use his trident against his opponent. As the King powers it up and blast it towards the Queen. She had began to burn up and die quickly as the blast had went straight threw her chest. 

As the  Mermaid King finally  gather his troops and began to finding the Aurid's Seal of Darkness. As the Mermaid King finds the Seal of Darkness hidden within the crates  inside her personal hideout. The Empress and her generals had rallied back to her camp to deactivate the portal and claim the Flamboyant King's castle. As the Empress found the boy and had the information to destroy the Death Gate and retain the peace for awhile longer. However the Mermaid King had join the Empress to destroy the gate and also place his trident as a shield within their Realm. The Mermaid King had seen Meriian and had ask the Empress about her where he came form. Meriian was the fifth son to the Flamboyant King Faror IX and Queen Aurid. However the Mermaid King told the Empress that Meriian would now be his adopted son. The Empress had agree with the Mermaid King's decision however he help with destroying the gate. The Mermaid King had made a promise to his Great Aunt that the portal will be gone before the Dark Lord could fully awaken. 

The Mermaid King and his troops continue to move towards the Death Ring to destroy it. However the Ring was heavily guarded by Death Templar's and they haven't been defeated since it was built. The Death Ring was built by the Dark Lord himself and place it in the middle of the Realm of Mermendya. It takes the power and traditions  from the mermaids and sirens that live within the countries. The Dark Lord hadn't come into a real since he loses against the Dagaryrens Clan and the Tyren Clan. The Dark Lord was defeated and wounded and was place into the Realm of Darkness for eternally. But now the Dark Lord wants his revenge on many foes but his number one target is Aymar. The Dark Lord can only live as long as he feeds on the victims and Demonic hearts. However he learn that Aymar had finally surpass him in power and Immortality. The Dark Lord had wanted to track her down since the battle against his most favorable prize.
