"Whew Chile, I never been this tired. This damn heat is draining me." Dakota says. " This summer heat gotta be the hottest Earth done experienced." Carolina walking ten steps behind her younger sister, but always keeping firm vision on Dakota's long braided ponytail. "CATCH UP!" Dakota yells out to demand her older sister to hurry . As Carolina gets closer to her. She sees the old building they meet their friends at in the summer afternoons . "Hola, Mija." A light raspy voice says from behind Carolina's back. As she turn around. She sees her Best-friend of twelve years, Annabelle, standing behind her. "How you doing good looking?" Carolina responded . "Where's your fine brothers at? Especially Daniel." See Daniel, that's been Carolina's crush since she met Anna when they were five. " Oh No, chica, STAY AWAY FROM MY HERMANO. He ain't no good I'm telling you." Says Annabelle, waving her finger in Carolina's face. Daniel's Nineteen, two years older than his sister and Carolina. He's been in and out of juvie since they all were just pre-teens. " I don't care if he killed a whole nation, I STILL want to marry him." Carolina responds, showing all thirty-two of her perfectly aligned and white teeth. Sweat running down her bronze forehead. "Let's go, I'm ready to eat."
