The Days I Can Never Forget

"Happy birthday Mike", I hear Hayley say as she wraps her arm around him.

Michael knows I hate her because I tell him everything, so he insisted he has to hate her too. Which I'm kinda happy about.

"Thanks Hayley" he replies putting on a fake smile and closing his locker, turning to me give me a "this bitch is so annoying" look.

I join Mikey, heading to math class. Room 210A with Mrs. Cross. She made the mistake of putting us next to each other. But oh well.

•LUNCH•

I sit down across from Mike, so we are both on the edge of the table, Mike sits next to Nathan, who sits next to Luke who sits next to Justin, who sits who sits next to Calum ,who sits across from Brynn, who sits next to Erin, who sits next to Kendall, who sits next to Jenn, who sits next to me.(the seating goes in a rectangle with 5 guys on one side and 5 girls on the other.)

The assistant principal comes on the mic and announces everyone's birthday on that day and when she announces Mikey's, our table goes wild. our screams get quiter as people start to turn and stare.

"I finally learned the rest of Heart Shaped Box on the guitar, I'll show you later tonight." I said to the group.

"OMG SAME" Michael replied.

•Michaels house•

"Hey mum" Michael says as the rest of us say "HAYY MRS. CLIFFORD"

"HAYY KIDS" she replies with the 'im a cool mom' voice.

"You see if we said that to my mom, she would have said "shut the fuck up and get out of my goddamn house" I informed them.

"Well Macy, you know you can always come here if you need too"

"Alright if you insist. NOW, WHO ATE THE LAST FUCKING COOKIE" I look back at Luke who has the most confusing look on his face eating a cookie.

"I'LL BE IN MY ROOOOM!" Michael says heading up stairs.

Everyone follows him except for me.

"Macy, you coming?" Cal asked

"Ya I'm waiting for Jenn to get here, I texted her a half hour ago."

Jenn was my best friend since kindergarten. In 1st grade she moved schools and I had another group of friends then in 2nd grade she came back and in the summer after 5th grade we regained our friendship back and now we have our "squad".

The "squad" contains of (me), Jenn, Erin, Kendall, Brynn, Michael, Cal, Luke, Nathan, and Justin.

We talk a bit then Michael and I start to do a duet of Heart Shaped Box and the others join in singing like we were around a campfire.

After the song and more talking I wanted to surprise Michael with ice cream. So I ran downstairs see that luckily Jenn just got here.

I drag her back to her car and force her to go to Target. I get a big bucket of cookies and cream for everyone to share and a big unicorn ballon for him. I go to the check out line and my cashier was the hottest guy, I swear to you, hottest guy (well other than Michael). His name was Alex.

"Paper or plastic?" He asked

"(419)-682-80" I was cut off by Jenn nudging me. "I mean plastic"

He started to chuckle.

I felt so embarrassed

We got back to Michael's just to see his mom there.

"Where did everyone go?"

"Oh hey loves, they went to go get ice cream, Michael said he would bring you guys back some."

I lift up the icecream in my hand and the balloon "but...but... I just went to get icecream."

"Ohh cookies and cream my favorite. Come on girls let's sit on the couch, eat the icecream, feel alone, and watch The Notebook."

"WELL IF YOU INSIST KAREN." Jenn and I say at the same time while jumping on the couch.
