Two muscular angels with chiseled jawlines descended from the sky. There was so much bright light pouring down from the sky that it was nearly impossible to see.
Oh great, the cavalry's finally arrived, I thought with a hint of satisfaction.
"What are you doing?" the angel asked the girl dangling me off the edge of the building. "I'm executing justice," the girl insisted.
There was a loud whooshing sound as the two new angels touched down beside us. The one on the right had shaggy blond hair while the one on the left had shorter black hair. They both radiated with that quiet condescending stare that all angels had but the blond one was really giving me the evil eye.
I did my best to play innocent, though I couldn't hide the slight smirk on my face. I kind of wanted to see how far these guys would tear each other apart before they remembered I was still here.
"This isn't how we operate," the angel with black hair explained to the girl. He grabbed me by my arm and yanked me away from the blue-haired crazy chick faster than I could blink. He slapped some fancy handcuffs around my wrists and pulled me closer to him.
"Oh, we're going straight to the good stuff then," I blurted out. It flowed out of my mouth so naturally I barely realized I had said anything. The blond angel seemed a bit annoyed with me already.
"What's your name demon?" he asked me, trying to keep his voice even.
"Name's Ray," I answered without a lot of emotion. "What generation are you?" the angel asked me. I sneered a bit. "Third," I stated. The angel girl walked up to me and pat my head, making me seethe with rage. "Ah, I thought you were fourth. You're practically a baby," she said in a sickly sweet voice.
I was lying, of course. Really I was second generation. Not that I was about to let them know how big of a catch they had gotten their hands on.
"So, where are we going?" I asked them as they walked me towards the edge of the building. "We're taking you to trial," the stone-faced guy to the right told me.
My expression remained blank but inside my smile was as wide as the devil's.
These people had no idea who they were messing with.

Heavenly court-First Level
The angel Gabriel carefully looked over the papers set before his desk. From his seat, he had a clear view of the sad soul below him.
"Has the jury reached it's verdict?" he asked the endless rows of angels sitting to his right. One of them stood to their feet, holding a sheet of paper. "We the jury, find the defendant guilty on all counts."
The poor soul below them burst into tears. "No, please, you can't do this," he screamed.
"May the defendant please rise?" Gabriel asked. The man stood to his feet, tears still streaming down his face. "Mr. Evans, if there is any one thing the Creator abhors it is the taking of life at the hands of another. Now, in your old life, you were acquitted for the murders of two young girls, due to lack of evidence, but we both know what really happened that day."
The man continued to sob under his breath.
"As punishment for your crimes, you will spend the rest of your existence in the sixth layer of the Inferno," Gabriel said, punctuating the end of his sentence with the slamming of a gavel.
"No please, I'm innocent-I'm innocent!" the man screeched. A ring of orange flames opened up beneath him. He free-fell into the screams of torment below him.
