Sitting in the cafeteria feels surprisingly normal. I suppose I'm used to it from before Four came. It's weird how we have known him for much less time than we haven't yet it feels like we have never been without him.
"Tris, who did your hair?" asks Marlene. I look up at her, momentarily forgetting about my hair.
"Oh, yeah, it was Chris" I reply. She then leans over and starts to talk to Chris so I am left to my own thought again. I feel someone sit next to me, and wrap their arm around me. Somehow I just know that it's Uri. "Hey Uri" I say, trying to be cheerful.
"Hey, you don't have to pretend around me, we've been through so much together, I have seen you in pretty bad shape, don't pretend" As he speaks I feel tears start to roll down my cheeks and I bury my face in his neck. No matter how long we've been apart, and no matter that I love someone else, he will always be there to help and support me, and he will always make me feel safe. I feel someone else sit next to me. I look up to see Zeke. I'm in a Pedrad sandwich. I find myself laughing and hugging them both. Honestly, despite my past with Uriah, these two are like my brothers. Next thing I know everyone is in a group hug, and I couldn't feel more loved.
