CHAPTER 8

SEOJOON'S POV
-Time skip to the next day-

I wake up soon, and get on my uniform since I'll be working at the police station today. I feed Skull and Crime, and then start heading to another working day.

I'll need to do something boring like revising that people doesn't throw trash outside the bins, or that everyone is crossing the street when the light is green... What kind of policeman is that?!

I hate not being able to continue with the skull case which is absolutely more interesting than this stuff... I hope Yeri discovers something about that man...

YERI'S POV
I wake up soon and get my school uniform, later on, I wash myself and have breakfast. Finally, I grab my schoolbag and start rushing towards the school.

Once I arrive, I spot my friends already talking about God knows what. How can they be this talkative this early at morning?

-Yeri: Good morning... (smiles)
-Joy: Yeri! Good morning (smiles)
-Wendy: Today is a sad day, right?
-Yeri: Why?
-Seulgi: Our protectors... They are gone... It seems like they already solved the case and now they are back to the police station... (sighs)
-Irene: I don't like any kind of guys, but damn, the E-Trinity is seriously something else... (smiles)
-Yeri: The E-Trinity... (looks towards the old building)

The one who did the real job here is Seojoon... By this time, he'll probably be at the police station already... Hey, why am I even wondering about him? I don't care...

-Joy: Yeri! Why are you spacing out that much?
-Yeri: I am not... (chuckles)
-Wendy: You were really close to that boy working here, right? I'm sure that you are gonna miss him... (smirks)
-Yeri: Pfft, please... Miss Seojoon? Never ever... He'll be working at the police station while I'm finally here having a nice time with my friends... (smiles)
-Seulgi: He was handsome too...
-Joy: Yeah, I wonder if he has a girlfriend...
-Irene: Who knows, maybe you have a chance with him... (srughs)
-Yeri: They don't! He's gay, he doesn't like girls! You won't be able to go out with him... (giggles)

What am I even doing? Why did I say so? Seojoon will get really mad at me if he discovers that I just lied about his sexuality... But what else could I do? Allow this lionesses to go after him? There's no time for that!

-Wendy: Okay... So he's gay... Well, we'll continue with the E-Trinity then... (smiles)
-Yeri: Yeah, that's the best thing you can do (smiles)

We then head to class since the classes are about to start. I can't forget that later on, during the break, I need to visit JYP's office... I must ask him if he knows about Baek Taejin... I'll need a great excuse though...

-Time skip to the lunch break-

Okay, now I'm heading to the principal's office... And I would like to think that I have the best excuse ever... After all, we need information, and I promise Seojoon that I would do my best...

-Yeri: Can I come in?
-JYP: Miss Kim? Yeah of course... What's the matter? (smiles)
-Yeri: Well, I got aware that you were a student from the same course of my grandpa... And he's looking for an old friend, maybe you know something about him... (smiles)
-JYP: Who's your grandpa looking for?
-Yeri: He's looking for Baek Taejin, do you know him?
-JYP: Baek Taejin... Baek Taejin... (Smiles) I know him...
-Yeri: How good! Do you know where can we find him? (smiles)
-JYP: Well, if I'm not wrong, he moved along her wife outside Seoul... (sighs) That was quite long ago... I don't know where is him...
-Yeri: Oh, it's okay... Thanks for your help (smiles and bows)
-JYP: Your welcome (smiles)

So, for now we know that he moved outside Seoul... This is gonna be difficult... But at least we got new information... And since I got it, I should meet Seojoon.

He told me that we would meet whenever we got new information, and right now I've got it... So, yeah, I'll head to the police station once I'm done with classes...

SEOJOON'S POV
I'm currently at my office revising all the paper work related with traffic... When suddenly, one of my colleagues enters suddenly... I wonder what's going on...

-Seojoon: What is it? (confused)
-Jaemin: Seojoon-ah... You bastard... You actually got yourself a girl, huh? (smirks)
-Seojoon: Huh? What are you saying?
-Jaemin: There's a girl asking for you, and judging by her uniform, she's still a student... What should we do? Should I allow her to enter or...
-Seojoon: (sighs) What is she doing here? I told her that we wouldn't meet today...
-Jaemin: (smirks)
-Seojoon: Stop with that disgusting face, it is not what you think... (pushes Jaemin friendly)

I then head outside the office, and head to the banks where all the citizens wait for their turn... What is she doing here?

-Seojoon: What are you doing here?
-Yeri: Of course I thought that you would miss my cute face (chuckles) That's why I decided to come...
-Seojoon: (sighs) Just in case you didn't notice, I'm working... I can't attend your stupid teasing right now...

-Yeri: Oh c'mon... I have something really important to tell you...
-Seojoon: Yeri-
-Yeri: Our little secret, you know (smiles)
-Seojoon: In that case... Follow me to my office...
-Yeri: Sure thing Mr. Policeman... (chuckles)
-Jaemin: Can I know about that secret too? (smirks)
-Seojoon: Shut it Jaemin... (glares at him)

Once we are at my office, I lock the door and make sure that no one is listening to us... Our case must keep on secret.

-Seojoon: So, what did you discover?
-Yeri: He moved out of Seoul... That's all I got, JYP is not sure if he's still living outside or not...
-Seojoon: I see... Well, at least we know something. My hyung will tell us where exactly is him... (smiles) If he's really out of Seoul, I'll be preparing for a trip...
-Yeri: WE will prepare for a trip, we are now colleagues, remember? (smiles)
-Seojoon: It is gonna be a trip through hell then... (sighs)
