The shrill sound of a bell echoed through the inn.

Ring Ring

The siblings jolted awake, startled by the unfamiliar noise. After a brief moment of confusion, the bell's clamor ceased, and a calm voice came through the intercom.

"We are now preparing breakfast in the Canteen," the Innkeeper announced. "And if you see my assistant, please tell her to meet me in my office."

Still groggy but curious, the siblings exchanged tired looks, shrugged, and decided to head down for breakfast. In the canteen, the smell of fresh bread and eggs greeted them. They sat at a small table and ate in comfortable silence.

But as they were finishing their meal, a loud commotion erupted from the kitchen. The sound of clattering pans and muffled voices quickly caught their attention. They shared a glance, and without a word, jumped up and rushed toward the source of the noise.

Entering the kitchen, they were met with an unusual sight: scattered pots and plates lay on the floor, and the kitchen staff was nowhere to be seen.

"Hello?" Carly called out, stepping carefully over the mess.

As they ventured deeper into the kitchen, Tack spotted something-or rather, someone-huddled in the corner.

"Ma'am, are you okay?" Tack asked, walking over cautiously.

Startled, the figure turned to face him-it was the Innkeeper, her eyes wide with fear. She nodded but remained visibly shaken.

"What happened?" Tack asked gently, kneeling beside her.

"M-Moblins," the Innkeeper stammered. "They-they took her!"

Tack's brow furrowed. "Who did they take?"

"My assistant, Samantha!" she cried, her voice trembling with worry.

The siblings exchanged a glance, their expressions hardening. "Don't worry," Tack said with a determined nod. "We'll find her and bring her back safe and sound."

The Innkeeper looked up at them, her fear giving way to a flicker of hope. "Thank you," she whispered, her voice steadier now.

Without wasting another moment, the siblings bolted out of the kitchen, determined to track down Samantha. They searched high and low throughout the village until they found a trail leading up to the base of Death Mountain. Following it, they soon reached a Moblin hideout, half-hidden in the rocky terrain.

Inside, they could hear the grunts of Moblins echoing through the caverns. The siblings didn't hesitate. With quick, coordinated strikes, they began to fight their way through the lair, dispatching the Moblins that stood in their path.

At the back of the hideout, they found a small, crude jail with a group of frightened civilians locked inside. Among them was a young woman who immediately rushed to the bars when she saw them.

"Please, help us!" she pleaded, gesturing toward a set of keys hanging on the wall.

Tack grabbed the keys and tossed them to Carly, who caught them with ease and swiftly unlocked the cell. The civilians, now freed, ran out of the hideout, overjoyed to be reunited with their loved ones.

Samantha, recognizing the siblings, rushed toward them. "Thank you so much!" she exclaimed, her face a mix of relief and gratitude.

"We're just glad you're safe," Carly said with a smile.

Back at the inn, the siblings arrived just in time to witness a tearful reunion. The Innkeeper pulled Samantha into a tight hug, her tears flowing freely.

"I'm so sorry, my child," the Innkeeper whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "I couldn't protect you."

Samantha hugged her mother back, offering comfort. "It's okay, Mom. I'm safe now."

The Innkeeper wiped her tears and turned to the siblings. "Thank you," she said sincerely. "Thank you for saving my daughter."

After some back-and-forth, the Innkeeper insisted on rewarding the siblings for their bravery, despite their polite refusals. Finally, she pressed 50 rupees into Tack's hand.

"Thanks for the reward!" the siblings said in unison, a smile playing on their lips as they waved goodbye and stepped back outside.

With the sun now climbing higher in the sky, they set their sights on Hyrule Field, their hearts lighter and ready for the next adventure.
