It had been a long flight for Keilani. She wasn't sure where she was going but as long as she was gone for home, that was enough. She walked out of the plane with a simple duffel bag and called down a taxi somewhere, not knowing where she was going and just advising the driver to go straight. She casually hopped out after telling the driver to stop here, noticing the large crowd. She watched them walk past her in a rush and heard the sound of cars honking loudly, hurting her ears and she covered them. Her eyes began to heat up and she cursed under her breath.

A building surrounded with many cars came into view and she ran to it with her bag. A car honked beside her since she had ran pass the road and she met eyes with the driver. Before she could stop it, her eyes glowed a bright gold, the man inside the car noticing it despite the day light and screamed in fear before she moved to the side as the guy rushed past her and drove out of the car park.

A few seconds later, the windows of the cars around Lani broke as a scream or yell was heard distantly and Lani fell to the ground, the sound being unbearable as she groaned, feeling blood falling down her ears and opening her eyes to see the blood on her fingertips. She suddenly felt the slight uncomfortable feeling of her teeth growing bigger and realized her werewolf features were suddenly growing. She was quick to lower her head down and she tried to get up but was stopped by the touch of someone and quickly turned around, growling at them as his eyes widened in surprise but he didn't run.

"Your eyes..." He mumbled before he turned around, seeing everyone looking towards their cars as he picked her up and took her to the forest where no one could see them. Lani noticed his peculiar green hair first but didn't dwell on it for too long since she was trying to not be seen.

"Where are you taking me?" She asked as had her eyes closed, trying her best to control herself so she didn't transform and possibly kill the kind boy who offered to help her. Her words were slightly distorted since her teeth were now fangs and her speech was a little impaired.

"Somewhere safe." Was all he said as he kept leading her somewhere as the sounds of the cars became more distant and quiet. Her senses began to grow comfortable at the sound and smell of where she was and her ears slowly turned back to its normal size but her eyes, teeth and hands were still the same.

"Okay, I think we'll be okay here." He says as they were in the middle of a forest and Lani opened her eyes as she could still feel her eyes heating up even more. The smell of the trees and dirt around her had made her werewolf side more comfortable and calm so all she had to do was give herself some time to let it calm down and she'll be back to her normal human state.

"Uh, your eyes." He pointed them out.

"They'll go away soon." She spoke as she looked around, breathing in the trees as she could feel her wolf calming down finally. She closed her eyes and felt her claws along with her teeth retracting to its normal size and her eyes were the last to go away. The boy in front of her cleared his throat and scratched the back of his head and Lani turned to him.

"I don't believe we've met. I'm Garfield Logan but people call me Gar for short." He said as he held his hand out to shake Lani's. She hesitated before she shook his hand, smelling something on him, making her wolf growl and she was immediately on edge but not so much anymore since he had helped her. She grew a small soft spot for him as gratitude but her guard was still up.

"You smell like a cat...or a tiger." Gar's eyes widened for a second before a smile appeared on his lips, showing his perfect teeth as Lani could feel the childish aura around him as he jumped around.

"I can change into one. I'm guessing you're a wolf." He said as he looked her up and down, seeing how her build was strong and she looked to be one of those people who don't open up easily considering how she had been eyeing him out for the time they'd been there. It was true but Lani didn't feel like she needed to worry about him too much. She could take him.
