{ September 14th, 2019}
I couldn't get what she said out of my mind. " I'm in love with you Joshua Taylor Bassett!" Is all I could think of when I looked at her, she said it..... SHE FINALLY SAID IT!!! I felt like the luckiest guy in the universe. She had to go to work today but I didn't want her to leave, I wanted to make out with her all day or pretty much more than that, but we have that damn contract we both signed.
I was watching her run around her apartment trying to find her keys, " Where are my keys, they were on the kitchen table last night and I can't find them" She said looking in the kitchen, I went over to the table beside the couch and found her keys, and went over to her," What would you do without me?" I asked and laughed a little and she turned around and looked at me, " I would be completely lost and be late for work, thank you, I'll see you later, I love you." She said and took her keys from me and kissed me, and I kissed her back.
As she pulled away from the kiss she started smiling," What?" She said and looked into my eyes, " I really want to rip that whole damn contract up and do more than kiss you or make out with you or tease you right now." I said with love in my eyes and she laughed, " well I'm going to work and you can wait for this bet to finish."
She said as she played with my hair and pulled it, and it drove me insane." D-Damn it, you d-don't know w-what you do t-to me." I said groaning, and she stopped, " Bye Joshua." She said as she smiled and winked and walked out the door.I grabbed my phone and put Sofia and my oldest sister in a group chat.

Joshua: Hey could y'all help me find a promise ring for Bridgit today, I want to give it to her after October 4th.
Sofia: Omg yes I'll help😱😍
Ashley: Omg yessss, plus her birthday is October 5th so that's perfect timing.😍
Joshua: ok thank you so much and yes I'm giving it to her on her birthday.

I stopped texting in the group chat and went to the mall. As I got there I saw Ashley," So you are actually going to put a promise ring on her." She asked me and I just smiled, " Yeah, I have never felt this way, I mean I honestly think she's the one, she's my sole mate, my forever, my Future Wife, my Baby Mama." I said and said tapping my foot and she laughed, " Slow down there lover boy, don't make me a Aunt yet." She said and I smiled, " Got it, but also no promises."
That's when she punched me on the arm, " I'm serious Joshua" She said with a stern look, " Alright, I get it." I said and holding my arm. That's when Sofia walked over to us, " I agree with your sister" Sofia said and I shook my head, " ok, I get it, Look I asked you two to help me not lecture me " I said and then we went to look for a promise ring for Bridgit.
